Most plants will not fade as extreme as the example I used in the Flush article. That was a very fast flowering Bogglegum pheno (48-50 days) that could ripen the last 6-8 days. Longer flowering varieties will have a slower metabolism taking several weeks to ripen and fade.
I'm with Scotty, I've never got a buzz that didn't make me more talkative and social. We're blessed!
Using fertilizer salts means when you flush the brix levels go down. I really think it's why the taste and smell isn't there because it's been watered down. Same thing happens with berries. Also flushing plants loads them with water which means more p.m. and bud rot.

Unfinished flower, due.to.over watering can prevent plant from being able to use up its nutrients naturally and sensansense leading to black ash and hea white ash will be revealed in even quick dried flower so it isn't a moisture thing nessesaraly

I get rid of fungus gnats with QUICK blasts of a creme brulee torch over the medium surface , have done for years , lowers springtail population as well
Sure they aren’t root aphids? I had them and it’s a nightmare

Although I've had spring tails but they never cause any issues.
@@kalikushmush6018 by the time root aphids grow wings and you notice them it’s already an out of control infestation, had to start all over and bake all dirt in the oven
@williambarringer6513 if they live in the surface soil you could babe probably taken care of them with hydrogen peroxide, it's fun to watch it bubble too .
In coco I used sugar as sequestering agent then plain non chlorine water not R.O.
My fave pesticide is soaps and alcohol in water, D.E. As top-dress

Hey Guys; Scotty is right. It's depends on what's in your soil. I've been growing for 5yrs now and all ways flush with straight water the last 2 wks of grow. I grow in living organic soil and have a singanic grow style. My plants fade very little, and I harvest when there is about 10% amber trichomes. They are always green, purple, or red when I harvest all depending on strain, and they all ash white / grey. Great video guys, cya next time

If using synthetic fertilizers you DO NOT HAVE LIVING ORGANICS SOIL... Synthorganics is a catch word for ignorant people being or participating in a con job.
My first grow setup was a total of $500. Did me great for 2 runs, sold it to a buddy and he's doing good with it.
Doesn't matter where you're at, first grow will pay for it all.
I spent 500 on lights alone, but I’m still well under 1000 total, on my 5-6th round I broke even long ago
first grow, 700 bucks on dirt, seeds, lights, nutrients, worm castings, i got 2 lbs dry weight off 4 plants, very happy with my results. I have grown veg all my life, so i have some exp.

That was one of my biggest problems with going for "extreme" flushing in the last 2 week odds, as you could argue that your starving the plant of what it needs to do the job.(arguably at the most important part of its life)
Ive always been of this opinion, keep the feed relativly on the low side for the whole growth cycle, dont starve her but dont push it to the max, and in the final week odd of my grow in DWC ill start to just add water to help water down the feed thats in the bucket, my smoke always comes out fine. If it was soil Id just feed up untill the final week then start giving them a half stregnth feed in the final week.
Where as I know people who feed heavy for the whole cycle then do the whole 2 week flush pure water but when they harvest you can taste the heavy metallic taste from them over feeding their bud.
My dog is like that he’s so sweet and gentle with me and he will play rough and growl and jump crazy with my husband

no sugars active too when u cut down with lights off at bottom of stalk. all the sugars arnt active and working on photosynthesedsis working through the plant until lights come on. always chop mine with lights off. after 2days of black. u can or dont have to do the the darkness but i def recomend chopping during lights out complete darkness everything in the roots sitting still non active

Grew my most recent grow with fox farm trio and my ash smokes white. Moisture content for sure is the only thing that matters.

I've had bone dry weed that still burn black ash it tasted like crap because it was picked too early and dried too fast.
10 days just water no calmag flush, seems to be enough to get white ash flower that doesnt keep burning out.

Personally, the way I read the data is a "flush" is just phasing out the nitrogen shortly after flower stops. then the last few feedings I cut the base nutes and go with just calmag and PK booster.

This is an older episode, but: As far as ash color goes, I can speak with some experience from the world of cigars. The color of the ash is related to the different makeups of the ground it is grown in. For me personally, I will continue to flush as it makes sense to me, even if anecdotally. Is it absolutely essential? From what I've been reading lately, no. However, I don't see any need to change what has already been producing amazing results for a long time.

UBC Chemo was literally made for cancer in a university in Canada.
A freind was told there was nothing more to do as his cancer had metastasised and become lukemia, he started using high THC oil and it completely halted the cancer, he’s experimenting with different strains but anything with high thc and oil, he lets it go to seed before harvest to maximise oils and makes RSO which he vapes. I’m not sure about CBD weed for cancer as there’s not as much oil to collect but they are bringing out more and more medical strains with cancer in mind. It certainly works for some people.

Why bother losing two weeks flushing when it’s better to use a buffered nutrient that way you don’t need to PH and you save time and product with not using nutrients the last two weeks just use water, I use Mantis Buffered Nutrients and only use it when the plants want water, one bottle entire grow with tap water, there is no feed schedule it’s only when the plants want water.

humble secret nuts, straight garbage I ran it twice I had no smell or taste, I have been growing since 2010 so it wasn't me..peace
I did 3 runs with that stuff. Plants looked great every time and when it came time to smoke it had no flavor and regardless how much I flushed at end it had black ash. I got discouraged and haven’t tried again in over a yr. Maybe I’ll pick up some different nutes and try again soon
