I need to correct a misunderstanding of the Katie story she wasn’t looking through his phone while he was driving. She thought that he was trying to respond to a text message from her while he was driving and that caused the accident, but actually he was responding to another message from another girl and that’s what caused his accident and she only found out because while he was in the hospital she had his phone and she wanted to see the last message that he received to see if it was her fault that he had the accident. I saw the story on TikTok.

Advice for the dilemma from me is to talk to the father because he should have stepped in and told her not to speak like that. I just know this isn't the first time he has sat back while the kids have disrespected her. Also, stand your ground - tell her to do the chores again and then there needs to be a consequence. I just can't believe she possibly stood there and took it only to write out this message. You can't let kids punk you, they're smelling themselves and will test 🤷🏿♀️. Tbh spending 9 years raising someone's kids with no marriage is wild to me and I would have left a long time ago but that's just me.
That last bit is the most important part. Ain't no way...
What I also don’t get tho is why she told the kid to do her chores. Idk I feel she probably was just THERE all those years and not actively involved in those kids lives, bc even teens wouldn’t just speak like that for no reason. Like “why are you telling me to do my chores when you’ve never cared before” is the way it came off to me 😅like if this is the first time correcting that kid to begin with what’s the point? She’s been there for YEARS and she’s saying something now that the kid has become a teen

Thank you so much for being y'all. Giving me a space where I can breathe. Not a sob story cause hes coming home, but my husband was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia week before last. First round of chemo this last week. Now I'm listening to y'all washing clothes and preparing to go back to the hospital. Had to come home for a few days to get things and clean things and see our baby boy. But like I said, he's coming home.
Sorry to hear this .. I hope that the chemo helps and the cancer goes into remission... Can't be easy for either of you but I bet that knowing he has you and your baby will help him ... Sending prayers for healing and strength

I think for the “idk which girls are pregnant with my baby” situation is probably he realized he was the problem bc he was fooling around with a couple girls who were also fooling around with a couple different guys and maybe all the girls got pregnant and now he doesn’t know if any or all of them are his kids or other guys kids😂
That one was really hard for me to figure out. I was guessing that maybe he just smashed a lot of women and didn’t save any of their numbers in his phone so when he got the “I’m pregnant”message he maybe didn’t know who it was from?

I've been in the step-parent roll for 10yrs(she was 4 when her dad & I got together) Her mother isn't in the picture & her father & I are no longer together but he & I are best friends... Through all the bullshit we somehow maintained our friendship(we were friends before we started dating) but that's a conversation that you & him would need to have because him saying nothing shows how little of respect he has for you & what he'll let her get away with. My bf realized how much his daughter played us against each other & apologizes for it & even told her she was also the problem & what factored into me leaving... You have to do what feels right in your heart..
Now, on being the step kid, my moms boyfriend told me to do something when I was 11 or 12 & I said "you're not my dad so you have no right to tell me what to do", my mom came outta the kitchen so fast & BACKHANDED me in my mouth so hard, my braces were stuck to my lips.. She said, "You don't ever talk to an adult like that, now go clean yourself up"

Two things about the stepdaughter thing
1) her man is a coward. We would have NEVER talked to my stepfather or stepmother like that because my mother and father would NEVER allow it. It’s just not even an option. With that being said my stepmother was also a coward so her kids went off 😂
2) my step siblings all had a go telling my father he wasn’t their real dad so he couldn’t tell them what to do. And every time he said “yeah I am not your biological father but I still provide for you, care for you and love you like I am and here you are being cruel to purposefully hurt me. I think that says more about you than me or the fact we aren’t related” that alone made the elder 2 stop in their tracks because if they say anything else is kinda proves his point. The younger one had a MOUTH and she would just respond “so? I didn’t ask you to do that shit. You’re not my dad I didn’t ask you to be so fuck off” and he goes “yeah and where is your dad? Because if I go then who is providing for you? Not your dad aye because he ran off” 😂😂😂 I’m not saying that you should respond like that but sometimes teenagers need to learn if they wanna throw hurtful words they better be ready to catch some

The problem for me is she raised those kids (without a ring), and the stepdaughter told her off. Her father, James said something the girlfriend is unaware of; she should leave.
57:07 James… she didn’t just wander in off the street, she has been in these kids lives day in and day out, living with them since they were small, playing a parental roll. If chores were established and understood, the step-mother/girl friend has every right as the adult in the house to remind the child to do them. She isn’t some new chick dad brought home for the weekend trying to be bossy. It’s a different kind of relationship than the one you experienced.
That child was hella outta line and her father is the problem for it immediately checking her butt and demanding she apologize and speak to the step-mother with respect.
