logitech high quality customer service : "I dont think we can fix it ,just get a new mouse" The problem was that my driver wasnt working so he told me to get a new mouse
Me: "My headset is broken (which is a common problem of the G430)" and I also sent pictures of it. Logitech: "Please follow these steps: 1. Turn your device off and on 2. Plug your device out and in 3. Reinstall the drivers 4. Try using the device on a different pc" But to be fair, they gave me a replacement device. And after the replacement device broke they gave me another one. Now my roommate broke the new one. But as he dropped the headset I didn't want to try getting a new free headset of Logitech again now, so I just bought the G935.
@@penix3323 the way to avoid this is to put in your claim "i have already tried abcxyz", and they won't bug you about it. their CS has been great to me throughout 15 years of using their stuff. i recently had a problem with my Y key double-triple pressing on a board that had just been discontinued, so they upgraded me to a G610 Orion for free, shipped it to me for free, and told me to keep the old one.
Was after replacement keycaps for romer G stuffs. Asked the CS where I can buy them. They told me to send it in for warranty replacement. Went on a wild goose chase for around a month for them to tell me. Oh we don't sell replacement keycaps . . .
@The Infidel Right. Then tell me what headset comes near the G430 for 35 dollars (if we forget the one weak point on each side which breaks too easy over months because it will be replaced for free)
After 2 years I finally gathered enough money to build my dream rig and the Redragon K556 was my finishing touch. I play osu! and realized that brown switches weren't the best for high speed clicking so I used the extra red switches to replace my A & S keys. Overall just came back to this video to say thank you.

@@bryceridesbikes Your comment does show it is pointless though. If it was a bare necessity your current gear wouldn't have lasted for 9 years. I hope my current Razer keyboard will last as long as yours (though knowing Razer's build quality it probably wouldn't).
Agreed. I picked up a Devarajas and a Cobra gaming mouse this weekend for a total of like $80 at MicroCenter. I already have a full suite of Razer gear but I'm working on reverse engineering RGB protocols for Linux so I've been buying up cheap and/or used gear for my project. I was quite impressed at the Redragon gear. The Cobra mouse feels good in the hand and the Devarajas has a very solid aluminum build quality that I was definitely not expecting for its $55 price tag. It also has a lot more RGB modes than any of my Razer boards, though the software is total trash. I've been trying to figure out if it has a way to directly control the LEDs from USB without saving internal profiles so that I can generate custom effects programmatically on the PC.
If my Devarajas had media keys it'd be perfect. But seriously, this thing is fuckin astoundingly hefty. I don't need a baseball bat in my house anymore, if I need a weapon I'll grab my keyboard.
XOmniverse So are the lights dim enough that you can see each key but it’s not annoyingly bright shining up at you? I mean nowadays I can either touch type so know where the keys are in the dark or mostly I’ll just turn on a light.
Backlighting is actually pretty useful... well more useful for a laptop I guess since you end up in odd places, but still useful really when you’re in the dark
It is an excellent board, built like a tank and the red looks sharp. With a 2 year warranty from a reputable company.. can't believe he didn't have it here...but unfortunately..it's only good if you can type on it and I cannot, for whatever reason, found it awful..but I also do not care for crappy linear mx reds
I have the G610. This review missed the big problem: The G610 has an extremely non standard bottom key layout, so changing out of those ABS keycaps is difficult. The space in particular is a proprietary 5,75U size, which you can basically only find from some Aliexpress or Etsy vendors, or 3D print it yourself somehow. This size is not included in pretty much any set I've seen.

Just get an Anne Pro or the Red Dragon one. All of these are pretty bad options.
@@fractured. A lot of people would not be excited to hop straight into 60% territory, but the Red Dragon and the Rosewill RK-9000 are great keyboard for the price point. Fair point that these are not great options, and I agree with the parent commenter because I'm also typing this on a Model M.
I got mine from a guy from ebay who didnt knew what he held in his hands for 36€

@@blyaticon8190 that's completely personal preference. Model m is worse for gaming.
logitech high quality customer service : "I dont think we can fix it ,just get a new mouse"
The problem was that my driver wasnt working so he told me to get a new mouse
Me: "My headset is broken (which is a common problem of the G430)" and I also sent pictures of it.
Logitech: "Please follow these steps:
1. Turn your device off and on
2. Plug your device out and in
3. Reinstall the drivers
4. Try using the device on a different pc"
But to be fair, they gave me a replacement device.
Oh we don't sell replacement keycaps . . .
I said my gpw mouse feet got scratched and they said that they will send another gpw and now i have 2 of them
@The Infidel Right.
Seeing him lift a keyboard by the cord gives me anxiety.
Damn he didn't say "Hey guys I'm Austin" at the end lmao
Still not seeing my boy Tecware Phantom TKL on here :(
Lian exesctly best keyboard for price at there

I like my Rosewill NEON K85 RGB... It may be a bit loud but its a pretty solid choice for $65 on Newegg.
@@DTC-ex7wg I bought a rosewill and there hasn't been a year and a lot of keycaps get stuck randomly. i clean every week so is not dirt. disappointed by rosewill.
Never a more relatable intro, I started with a old Dell keyboard (see it on my channel in shorts) and upgraded to the K55 for $45 and now the $230 Corsair K100

@Payn Smasher's Productions It was a joke...
Redragon is srsly a marvel brand as far as quality for the low low prices
Omg I have a red dragon keyboard and moust it is the best affordable keyboard and mouse ever
Red Dragon has become my go-to brand of choice.
If my Devarajas had media keys it'd be perfect. But seriously, this thing is fuckin astoundingly hefty. I don't need a baseball bat in my house anymore, if I need a weapon I'll grab my keyboard.
My redragon keyboard broke after a year of heavy use

@@cjeam9199 Being able to adjust colors and whatnot is for aesthetics, but in general, it's useful for seeing the keyboard in the dark.
XOmniverse So are the lights dim enough that you can see each key but it’s not annoyingly bright shining up at you? I mean nowadays I can either touch type so know where the keys are in the dark or mostly I’ll just turn on a light.

I agree!
