    🛠 ABOUT ROTBOX
Hey! We're Mat & Len, a guy and a girl from North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. We love making stuff out of metal and building cars together.
What kind of cars do we build? We mainly work on modern classic cars (anything 80s- early 90s) and right now we're restoring and modifying a VW MK1 caddy pickup #thatslammedcaddy
We're down for anything metalworking related and always love to hear your suggestions for what DIY project we should take on next in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by, if you want to see more welding, grinding, hammering, plasma cutting, press braking as well as all the ups and downs of our fabrication projects make sure you subscribe by hitting that red button!

Me: "Think I'll go change the oil on my car today? You?"
Rotbox: nonchalantly - "Think I'll make a custom steel front boom-pa with a flared license plate holder, flush end caps, and custom boom-pa mounts."
Me: "..." - "think I'll go back inside and watch telly all day..."
Incredible work! I said it before and I'll say it again - your tenacity and skill is awe-inspiring! Carry on mate!

With production of the mk1 ending in 2009 in South Africa, I thought I had seen all attempts to modify the front bumper ... guess not!
Check out our last few iterations of arguably the all time South African favourite vehicle.
Full window front doors. Steering wheel airbags and a dash from some Seat vehicle not available in SA.
    Excellent work guys

@@RotboxMetalworks oh there was even a limited edition R line released. 1.8i motor with a slight performance camshaft and down pipe from the factory and a body kit. Google's your friend for images of that 1

I honestly think it's awesome. The only issue I'd be thinking of is weight. Unless you planning on putting in a powerful engine that would benefit from the amount of weight in the front which would be great for traction. In future YOU could sell off that as a mould to a factory or a person who does fabrication/customisation daily but obviously when you done with the entire build duuurrrr👍🏼👍🏼
    Great job though.
