    UPDATE: Here is an updated Unify layer patch of the one used in the video. bit.ly/UNIFY_Patch_GrandBrass_Legendary_Low_Strings
    The contents need to be placed inside of your USER PATCH FOLDER. Also, take a look at the "Read Me" and let me know how things go. Enjoy!

      @@PraiseTracks unfortunately it’s not working, unify not seeing it in the user library I don’t know why. I have placed it in the user patch library file.

    I missed the live stream but it's wonderful to catch up as Simeon who is probably the best reviewer of new Libraries on YT gives us a deeper insight. Do you know how many dynamic layers Spitfire used for this library?
    On another note, anyone who loves the French Horn should listen to Benjamin Britten's, Serenade for tenor horns and strings and also his War Requiem.

    I got off to an odd start with Spitfire and here is why: When I saw your Spitfire library player on the screen it clearly says "Abbey Road One". My initial assumption, which I don't think was too out of line, was that if I bought Abbey Road One as a library at a price of $400.00 it would of course include these instruments as you demonstrating in your wonderful video. After all, it says 'Abbey Road One' right there on the screen, in your window and mine. The only difference is that the name of your instruments in the instrument window itself are different than mine yet the general name of the library is the same: 'Abbey Road One'. Mine has a variety of horns too which sound okay but they are not identified as GRAND brass horns as you have. It seem very odd that the Grand Brass library doesn't say that in their player window but instead says what mine says, yet I don't have Grand Brass. If not misleading this is confusing at the very least. It doesn't make me love your videos any less, Simeon. It just make me pause when I consider buying more product from Spitfire as I feel that the $400.00 Abbey Road One library should already have this "Grand Brass" library included.

      Yeah, it can be a little confusing. The Scoring Selections are expansions if you will that focus on a specific technique or sound character. You can purchase them without having to purchase Abbey Road ONE.
      I appreciate the kind feedback and support. It is an honor to be able to bring these instruments to you. Joyfully yours.

      @@PraiseTracks : Thank you for your reply, Simeon. I had forgotten that the Grand Brass library could run as a stand-alone, especially when I see "Abbey Road One" on the interface. I'm quite sure that you have reviewed all of these libraries quite extensively so, if you won't mind, I would like to ask you this; If you had "Abbey Road Orchestral Foundations" (the $400.00 version) do you think you would still find a need to add the Grand Brass library to it or do you think the majority of the Grand Brass library already exists within the 'Abbey Road Orchestral Foundations' library as it is?

    • @PraiseTracks
      @PraiseTracks  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does add an interesting punch but I would not call it a must have. The last Orchestral Selection they introduced were the High String Legatos and that would be something very worthy to add.
      Another aspect of these "selections" is that most come with a limited range that can be a little restrictive, but at the same time again, they are laser focused on one particular thing. I have used UNIFY to help extend the range of some of these. ;^)

      @@PraiseTracks All very good points... and I had forgotten about Unify! I will dig into that. Like many, I am completely in love with my Tina Guo Legato Cello library (and Tina herself as well I suppose :) but it always seems that I am missing that last note that I need on the upper end of the range. Maybe Unify could solve this problem for me.
      Simeon, it is always such a pleasure to view your videos and read your comments. I always learn new things. Thanks again for all that you do and have a happy, healthy Easter.
