Loved it, btw that Massey Hall find is something I’ve heard, forgot about and searched so hard for, I’m glad you found it lol we should stay in contact because I am still curious about how Max could have just came up with this pattern. Billy Hart told me Max studied Tabla at one time. I wonder if that had an influence... still doesn’t solve the mystery though for me. I have some Ed Blackwell sightings that might be on “old dreams new dreams” where he plays Un poco Loco in triplets (only playing the 5 note pattern three times) anyway great work and looking forward to your next one

I stumbled upon your channel because I went deep into the drummerforums to learn more about Zilco Cymbals since I purchased a beautiful 20" ride (which I love to death) and now I'm even happier to have seen you play "Sleigh Ride" on your Zilco cymbal and spit some knowledge on Max Roach.
