As a GenXer, I know I can always count on Louis for old ass references: Kim Carnes, Xanadu, Siskel and Ebert. Thank you, for this. I remember a few years after Siskel's death, Ebert referred to his relationship with him as "the friendship of my life". That stayed with me.

Saw Marcia Gay Harden on broadway once and she performed a whole magic trick because all the other actors (including Jeff Daniels and James gandolfini) straight up disappeared as she stole every moment. She's so brilliant and is beyond captivating.

I’m so sorry, I want to give Kim the benefit of the doubt, but there’s no way she “pulls fashion references at the dime of a hat.” She made up an answer to sound smart. She wouldn’t know anything about fashion or film if it weren’t for the men she dated (mainly Kanye) who forced her to watch it and dressed her up like a doll to be their muse.

BRAT to me is the album of the year, I love how she sounds and how much texture her music possesses, and the green square 🟩 is a genius marketing strategy, a color so refreshing like her music 🎶 I found her in my feed, first time hearing of her and I’m glad I decided to get her album 💿
