I lived in Japan for seven years and I have to say, your Japanese makes are incredible. I speak fluent Japanese and I still have trouble with Japanese sewing patterns. You have the perfect figure for Japanese fashion too. Incredible job!
As someone who lives in Canada, and hails from the prairies, I can't help but chuckle at what constitutes a "winter" make for you. : ) They are all beautiful and I love your knits too! My blundstones are my go to fall/winter boots and I love that they look great with jeans and dresses! This was a fun look into your closet!
I felt genuine joy seeing that plaid liner fabric on the pink coat, since I recognized it from the first sewing tutorial I ever followed: the easy shorts pattern. So cute, great vid Janelle!
I loved all of these! Outfits five and six are my faves. LOVE the cord pants, that most adorable basket and the pink coat! All of your jumpers are the best!!! ❤❤❤
Hi Jannelle, you have a distinctive choice of fashion, clothes and color. i I just started learning sewing for only a few months, your videos have really inspired and encouraged me to move on to sewing clothes of my preference that doesn't follow fashion trends. I will begin with maybe a gingham gathered dress or button up clover dress you demonatrated before.
I like all of your outfits, especially your pansy dree and your corduroy pants and skirt. You have a broad range of clothes in your wardrobe, which is fabulous.
I’ve been watching your channel since the pandemic and even though I’ve never sewed an item of clothing I considered successful (because I choose the wrong fabric or mess something up 😂) I still love watching your whole process. It is so, so refreshing to see someone who creates her own wardrobe with items that are timeless and very much in your own style. I couldn’t wear your colours or some of your shapes but you still inspired me that ONE day I can make my own clothes and be as delighted with them as you are. Thanks as always for the ideas and encouragement. I like everything you make, you have really nailed your own style and look so comfortable in your own items. 😊
I think your winter looks are my favorite. I am in a sleeveless dress right now as the northern hemisphere is in summer but look forward to getting out my fall and winter pansy dresses and making more, perhaps knitting the Rosery sweater too.
My favourite is the pinafore, which I’m hoping I can hack from your Rosa pattern which I recently purchased. I also love the Willa dress, it has that cottage dress vibe but updated by being in a dark fabric.
just here to say that I came across your videos years ago, more or less around the burnt orange jumpsuit, and I loved all your outfits ever since. Northern hemisphere gal here, which means I re-watch the videos based on my seasons to get inspo again to match my cooler colours palette. 🤩🔝🔝🔝 thanks you for all the inspo!!
I love all your outfits!! You are a beautiful and elegant girl and I love watching your videos and being inspired! I want to make a corduroy jumper like yours for next winter. I live in Mississippi, U S.
So difficult to pick one but the Cordoroy long jumper, Japanese top and sailor collar dress, and the pink coat are my faves. ❤🥰 I’ve been making skirts. For some reason I am desiring more of them in my closet. 😂
I really enjoy your channel. Your clothes are lovely and all go together beautifully. You are also a beautiful knitter - I especially love the cardigan with the bobbles.
Gosh, so hard to pick a favorite as they are all so gorgeous! If I had to pick one, I think it would be your cordoruy pinafore, especially as I'm making it at the moment. Your Japanese makes are a very close second though, so beautiful!! ❤
Thank you so much Janelle for this video. Certainly you keep inspiring me to sew my own clothes. Already ordered your Pansy and Hazel patterns which are at Officework for printing. I really in love with the everyday Pansy dress too and your gorgeous sailor collar Japanese dress.
Hi Janelle. I recently sewed a soft pink colored pansy dress. It turned out perfect. It became my favorite :) I will sew it again with a beige linen fabric. I adore your patterns and videos. Keep going. Congrats...
Currently knitting the Rosery jumper and loving it. It’s coming along nicely but also very slowly. Hopefully I get it finished before next winter 😂. Thank you for sharing this pattern Janelle x
I love your outfits, some of them are too girly for me but really suit you 😍 You're making me want to try knitting again (already got a craftsy sub from one of your episodes) but I have four crochet tops i ought to finish first 🤣
I love seeing all your handmade items! I am slowly making many items for my wardrobe. I made 3 pansy dresses for my sister to wear through pregnancy and they are one of the only nice items she can still wear! I made them all from thrifted bedsheets which made them even better! I was wondering about trying to add a peter pan collar to the pansy dress and was going to attempt a toile. Have you ever thought of that or tried it?
Aw how lovely, I’m so happy to hear she’s been getting lots of wear out of them! Here’s a tutorial where I added a petter pan style collar to the Rosa pattern which would you could potentially use for the Pansy pattern too: th-cam.com/video/7TYYOn6L_nU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lsF8yEDltLxGDJhx
Hello Janelle how could I make that incredible Japanese dress with the sailor collar. I have been looking for that style for years. I would so love to be able to make it. Have you got the pattern or could you direct me as to where I could get it please? Thank you
As an American in Summer and already over it as its been so hot. This video is getting me excited for cooler weather. Are your tights just normal tights? I have fleece-lined tights for the winter.
@@RoseryApparel It can get pretty cold here so it's required if I don't want to just wear pants. Even some days it gets so cold I'd wear the tights under jeans.
Isn’t it cute! Here’s a link cardigang.com.au/collections/knit-kits/products/kristy-jumper-knit-kit?colour1=45444721901727&colour2=45444600234143&addon=44506638450847-44506639204511
Correct me if I'm wrong but those corduroy pants are much looser on you today compared to when you made them! I think I love the pinafore hack best, I can picture that in a linen for summer with a cute tee underneath!
Aw yes a linen version would be soo cute! Yeah the pants have definitely stretched a bit with wear unfortunately. I think it might be time to have a go at making another pair 😄

Love the sailor collar dress!

arrr I love this ! a little bow on that basket would be so/sew! adorable.
Watching this in a very humid 100F Midwestern heat and just counting the days until autumn arrives…
I absolutely love this wardrobe it’s so cozy. We need to get back to this.
I love the Hazel dress, the dress using the Clara pattern and the puffa jacket. Everything looks cosy and warm.

All the outfits are fabulous. Like the all.

Aw thank you! They are some of my favourite too 😍
Thank you for the inspiration! 🤍Some day I'll be brave and dare to knit a Rosery Jumper to pair with my Pansy Dresses. 🥰
Love the knee-length corduroy skirt! It makes me want to start project planning (leaving all my other started projects in the dust)!
Everything looks amazing 🤩
I really enjoy your channel. Your clothes are lovely and all go together beautifully. You are also a beautiful knitter - I especially love the cardigan with the bobbles.
Aw thank you! 🥰
I love all of the dresses....thank you for sharing them again with us. I really love the popcorn sweater. That color is one of my favorites too.
Gosh, so hard to pick a favorite as they are all so gorgeous! If I had to pick one, I think it would be your cordoruy pinafore, especially as I'm making it at the moment. Your Japanese makes are a very close second though, so beautiful!! ❤
Sooo much great A/W inspo. I’m already thinking about the next seasons makes and this really got me in the mood. I just love that puffa jacket 😍

So many lovely outfits! I think the broderie anglaise shirt could look cute wearing it with a neck ribbon bow tie - maybe velvet?
Thanks Janelle! Sending love from Annette in Michigan ❤
The tiny basket!! ❤😳
It's so hard to pick one look! A top contender for me is the linen sailor collar dress. I have it on my list for dresses to dupe 😍

Ooh that sounds cosy! Mine are just regular old tights ☺️

The UK does one season broken into 365 parts so any pattern could end up being apt for any day. We just don’t know which for when 😂
Was thinking the same!
Could you please share the pattern of the drop waist skirt?
Here you go ☺️ th-cam.com/video/x7fzDCzOASk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dYMngwxf62pui4ad
