The album is a masterpiece. I was the same age, around 12 years of age. My brother brought this album home. I was fascinated by the album cover. Then, the incredible music from it. 😮❤😊

I ran a chain of chart return record stores at the time and tried to get the record label to issue it as a single but they weren’t interested. Shame on them. R.I.P. Long ago, in a land far, far away, I wrote my very first music video.. and it was based on this song. It was about a young American Indian couple (husband and wife) from the Washoe tribe, in 1880's Nevada. She one day discovers a portal leading 100 years into the future, and follows it to a mystical life that intrigues her. He is heartbroken over her sudden disappearance, but eventually discovers the portal himself and goes after her. After days of frantic searching and confusion, he finds her in the glitz and lights of 1983 Reno... and try as he may, he cannot convince her to come back to the happiness of their 1880's life together. A happy ending for her, and a sad ending for him. I haven't even thought of this song for probably a decade now, but seeing this instantly brought that young couple right back into my mind's eye and and my soul's heart. They were very dear to me back then.. and now again. In other words... sometimes you come across something on TH-cam that just freakin' blows you into an emotional mush...and I just had one of those times. Thank you for posting this!

I have noticed in many of their performances, Geoff Downes waves his left hand over the left side of one of his keyboards. Anyone have an idea what this accomplishes?
There are moments sometimes, where he does surprisingly moves and face-mimicals and appears like a bizarre mix of Diva and Freak. But however, he is simply one of the 10, maybe 5 best guitarists on earth.
