- This Leonardo atom is a fragment of my multimedia artwork "Portrait of an Atom". (www.kennethsnelson.net) I have imagined how the great artist/scientist Leonardo might have solved the puzzle of the atom's architecture -- with gears of wood. It's an imagined bit of lost history. I modeled the original wood/gear image in 1990 using Wavefront software. It is updated here and greatly improved by my collaborator, the brilliant animator, Jon Monaghan

Good model,he was fairly close considering how long ago it was.
Thanks
@mephesh The fellow who painted the Last Supper might be confused by this statement....
luckily leonardo filmed his model so now we know he was right
@NebunLaCap
sure thing u say, just see my point...
no one knows ewerything, so there is alot we (science) dont know and think we know but we are wrong...
so do you know which element it is?
the center of the universe!
@YoungWolve1 Well said
he was from the future!!!!
Portrait of an Atom.
@mephesh they are in harmony though. Science is the discovery of life, and religion is the celebration of life.
@NebunLaCap
and where good parents come from?
we all believe in something, it's just different things we believe in.
sience does not know a lot lot lot ...... lot more than it knows....
@mephesh When you say that you make science into religion.
More Science! Less religion!
@NebunLaCap
You cannot just have Science, for If religious beliefs and opinions are found contrary to the standards of science, they are mere superstitions and imaginations; for the antithesis of knowledge is ignorance, and the child of ignorance is superstition. Unquestionably there must be agreement between true religion and science. If a question be found contrary to reason, faith and belief in it are impossible, and there is no outcome but wavering and vacillation.
see what religion does people we could have had his notes long ago with a modern era filled with so many ideas and inventions instead now we still have holy wars in the age of technology, modern medicine would be better, well hell 99.9 percent of things would be better now but...yeah
Science = Religion
You are not pretty smart ...
