I really do appreciate this video. The one thing that you went over was the joy stick missing. It's the only thing that really bugs me about the S9, but your solution is still very usable. Thank you for mentioning that.
I've been shooting like this in Aperture priority mode for years since Auto ISO exists. It's super convenient. I even do the same for my Leica rangefinder
Great tip, thank you! I was out this weekend and found aperture priority mode to be the most convenient for casual photo grabbing. Very nice to know I can put more guidelines for it to get a better shot!
Great video mate! This is exactly how i'll be using Aperture Priority mody on my s5ii 👌🏻. As someone who has historically always shot in Manual mode because I predominantly shoot landscapes, it's nice to let the camera do the heavy lifting once in a while! Especially for those really dynamic day-to-day scenes! Great tips man!
At 3:53 you have help text to the left of the exposure meter icons, I don't have that on my S9. I've looked thinking it's a setting to turn on, but don't see it, do you know where it is. Excellent tips by the way. :)

Please let me know if the Lumix S9 or the A6700 is a better option ? I love the Lumix colors ... but the Lens options are crazy for E mount ...

Thanks for this video! Which lens do you use most on the Lumix S9?

Just click the display button when in the menu and it will turn on and off
@@ScottEdwards Doh. Still 'converting' from Fujifilm, although I must say Im having trouble putting the X-E4 up for sale :(
Can this be made into a downloadable custom preset?
Not sure why but when I tried to change the minimum shutter speed it says it's 'unavailable in this mode...sensitivity 640'. Dial is on "A".
Make sure you’re not shooting in V-Log
@@ScottEdwardsI don't use vlog, I hope I don't have a defected s9
Cool
