You need to get the ARMMA body clip tethers and drill the battery clamp top to connect tether tp brace add 'R' clip's to them then yhey will not get lost, I have done this on a couple of my vehicles, I foundsome coloured ones that stand out.
Did you notice how they have it listed on the website for scale, Under scale it says MAXX so are there gonna be more MAXX scale vehicles? I'm curious!!!
Questions have you bought aluminum upgrades for Max slash. I bought all they had available in green and they were awesome but had to return the front wheel hubs they rub badly on rim (almost stop tire fron turning) took back to hobby store they called traxxas the rep told us they new it rubbed and should self clearance I was shocked so I put plastic front hubs back on. I really was shocked rep told us to let it self clearance. I was going to ask if anyone has had same issues the truck is awesome besides that

Spent a few hundred I attended a bash event max slash did awesome But on side note next day the esc died temp light came on after a few minutes on 4s just kept flashing motor esc not hot traxxas said send motor esc to them so now waiting for My motor esc to return wish they would fix the 6s esc Burned 2 up in udr put my xrt 8s esc in udr no problems now another in max slash it is great otherwise
Traxxas sent new parts also bought sway bars transformed truck I am by far a racer but all the people that complained about handling need to install sway bars
Imho it can be argued with the maxx on which to buy and all depends on the drivers wishes and the environment in which youll drive. Jumps and flips obvious the maxx. But just trails and tracks its the maxx slash no doubt. People are sleeping on this one. Thanks to them theyre available online still and ship quickly 😂
Would sledge arms fit on it? Gotta go wider and throw bigger tires on it.... Maybe than keep up with a kraton. Bone stock, faster and way heavier. Goota be those weak electronics or heavy resistant trx plugs... #1 bone with traxxas, i dont want to use your batts or esc. Make a roller all ready
This is a Badass SCT. I mean bad as a mf. There will be entire divisions based on this truck. Anyone that has the ability to get one that hasnt will regret it when they eventually do. I dont understand the negativity surroundin this one at all. Its impressive.
For the upgrades do each part a different color, mix and match and have none of them match like what they did with the VW Golf Harlequin. Would match the Rock N Roll paint for sure

Yes I realize it looks like the colors on a dragon fly yet that is part of the point. I don't think you want Tamiya and HOSIM to look better than us. Clips in the battery tray seems like s step back. Going to be a pretty penny to change those shock towers to metal.
To be fair, Someone at Traxxas thought it would be a good idea to advertise and highlight the speed of a short course truck. Most racers are not looking for a whole lot of speed, verses the handling and jumpimg ability.

On one hand I like the security of the traxxas battery hold, but I also like the versatility of velcro straps. Im fine with either really.
Orange arms, blue aluminum hub carriers. Orange shock caps to go with the blue bodies.
When they come out with the Prografix body...cause they will...Pink addition for sure!!!!

70mph with the body on for it to be true. without the body on is a lie. the taking off like a plane is what the slash body does at speed.

I would cut some flaps into the hood give it some downforce and keep the front end from becoming a sail.
Send it you need to get an assortment of pinions and see just how fast you can push the stock motor/esc before it won’t go any faster
