Skid steer would be seriously handy for an older farm if it isn’t as well laid out as a new build. But could be expensive maintenance wise. Good videos sir, keep them coming.
In my personal experience it feels like you have better control with pedals. I have a bobcat M-970 and a kubota SVL65-2 but I prefer the M-970 because of the foot pedals.
Would be without my ald sperry newholland 775l nearly the same age as me toboot 🙃😁 can see huge potential and the obvious pitfalls. They have there place as with any machine and as long as the operator can get the most out of it. Good vid sir. Nice seeing the skid in action. Stay safe 🏴

Great video well done support this guy
We have newholland loader is on pedals it does everything feeding yard scraper cleaning sheds and stacks silage bales in summer never stops
That’s a great wee machine to have, there getting very popular. Your better with the Volvo than a bobcat. 👍
Tony beets swears by the Volvo 💪🏻
Tracked Volvo's are same as a jcb.. run a mile from them. There lemons
Nothing wrong with the bobcat, the ones with the little kubota motor are undestructible
Trust me... foot controls are the best. So, intuitive.
Very handy indeed some craic for wheelies too 🤣
Skid steers have got there place in about tight spots around yards and sheds but if you have plenty of space handler all the way
They are a savage machine..
Comment for the algorithm 👍.
Yea brilliant bit of kit 👌

Good machine for small farmers and tight yards other than that telescopic loader would be more effective in lifting compasity
Great video Tom and a great piece of kit 👌
Mighty machine the ones with tracks can be expensive to run I believe because of the extra wear.
Totally depends on the model.
Great versatile machines- move bales, excavate dirt, haul manure, clean fence rows- they are beasts. Hard to work on- 10 lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag!
How can anyone have a farm and not have a skid steer? I use one and I don't even have a farm it is so handy!
Truly enjoyable video did you ever of 'Farmer P' on TH-cam
Is it not a serious flaw with the keltec,
That another machine is needed to push in.
I could use the keltec but skid steer is way more handy 👍🏻

@@theirishfarmer oh right I see.... usually bullet proof those .... handy little machine , keep up the good work 👏
It would be very handy but you need more time on her
gentlemen agri no better men for engineering
Interesting video enjoyed
Some job but expensive enough bit of kit at same time
Good manyour self
