Great find man and excellent diagnosis - that would for sure prevent the bike from running and cause a no spark issue. Look forward to seeing the bike run!

Check power at starter
Mine just stopped turning, new battery and solenoid is only a year old. Straight jumped the starter with solenoid, but got a spark...no turn
