Awesome job - I had a feeling that was the issue! Sounds like it's idling great too! Yeah, due to the baffles being drilled out along with the air box removed, it's sucking way too much air to rev up. That should be a great runner! Fantastic job again and thanks for sharing!
brother connecting the push pull cables is a bitch to do! I changed both the grips and carb on my 01 vt600, the best thing to do is pull the carb off and then instal the cables on it. otherwise u will be fighting with those for hours. this "simple" part is super " not simple" to instal lol :)
