Adjusting Allison V730 transmission shift points

Our internet-famous mechanic Joe shows me how to adjust the shift points on our recently-rebuilt Allison V730 transmission. The transmission was winding up to 55 in 2nd before shifting to 3rd and was also hunting between 2nd and 3rd when trying to drive around that speed which was annoying. These adjustments improved driveability a lot.

Hopefully this will help a lot of people out with their V730’s. Please explain what lowering the number does as well as what raising the number does. Thanks Scott!
