Speaking of visual focus, I've changed my default font on my PC to one called Open Dyslexic (free and available to all). It has a subtly tweaked geometry that makes it even easier to stay focused line by line as I read. I also seem to experience less eye strain after long sessions reading online. I'm not dyslexic personally but still find the effects to be incredibly useful.
