This is how TH-cam use to be for a long time. Then something changed and now we very one has some dumb or tryhard intro and they are all making some stupid face for a thumbnail.
So…today…um…I’m going to teach you about the…but first let me give you a heads up about something completely unrelated and then rant about something unrelated and the announce my intention to tell you what I’ve already I was going to tell you and then…(6 minutes later)…
Great video. No loud annoying music or gunfire to sit through before getting to the topic. Those fancy modules make me want another P365. Great looking stuff.
Thanks for posting! I picked up a P365 today, and you confirm what I suspected. I have a P320, and since the takedown lever is obviously what does not hold the P365 frame in, I thought the pin served this purpose, but I decided to do the Manly Thing, and actually check on the process. I didn't want to do the QR code for an online manual.
New P365 owner here and fairly new to handguns. (Not counting some shooting of the 45cal pistols in Navy basic training about 40 years ago.) I must say, you are a natural teacher. You convey things so well that even an old man like me can understand it!!! If I had to guess, I would say that teaching people how to do things has been a part of your life. You should look into mentoring young people. I wonder, is it possible that you could do a video on the cleaning and lubrication of the P365? Perhaps from the perspective of the first time cleaning the gun of the excess oil and grease that it is shipped with? Mine came from the factory pretty wet and despite my efforts so far just using the maintenance instructions in the manual that came with it, I am still having excess oil seeping onto the left hand side of my magazines where they mate with the FCU. It appears to be coming from a channel that the bar that moves with the takedown lever rides in. I have tried absorbing it up with patches by inserting them into the magazine well and also from above but it apparently has a lot of excess oil I am not able to get to. I know it will eventually stop draining, but I was under the impression that the magazines and the mag well was supposed to be kept clean and dry. Perhaps I am wrong.
Kevin McMillan Thank you very much for the compliment sir. In regards to your cleaning have you removed the FCU from the grip module to make access to cleaning easier? A 365 cleaning is one of the most requested. I’ll make it a priority. Thank you for serving.
Sig Sauer Guy Thanks for the quick reply!!! No, I haven’t had a chance yet. I just came upon your channel tonight and watched the 320 cleaning and lubing video and was so impressed!! I’ll give that a try as soon as I can wrestle up a punch that will work.
Sig Sauer Guy Thanks, after removing the FCU it was easy to soak up most of the excess oil and solve my seeping problem!!! By the way, what lube are you using on your slide and rails? It looks so clean and has no noticeable oil buildup. But from what I can see in the video, it has a surface sheen. Are you just wiping the rails with a patch that is dampened with oil or grease?
Thanks for the video. I've had my 365xl for a couple years now and I've been wanting to change a few things. I've built over 100 ARs and can do it blindfolded. Along with the AR platform, I've done a handful of handgun mods but I'm not nearly as comfortable building or changing parts on my edc pistol and usually have my buddy who's a gunsmith when he's not working as a cop. I'm not going to lie, the m&p 2.0s, glocks and the few others I've tinkered with were a little frustrating. This is a fantastic easy how to and my confidence is where it needs to be. One pin? Ha, I got this!
Another Like. I notice there are NO Dislikes. Not surprised. Decided to change out my P365 grip for a 365XL. I wondered how hard it would be. Holy cow! After this video it took five minutes. I already had punches, and that helped. Worst part of my upgrade was having to buy new mag floorplates for my 12-round extended magazines. Luckily the 15-round mag comes with bases for both the 365 and the xl.
Thank you. Very informative video without all the blah blah blah. The pin on my 365xl pushed right out, no trouble at all. Swapped mine over to a Wilson Combat grip modual
Wow, best tutorial video. I've seen the foregun's straight to it. No-nonsense and this is something I wanted to do but did not know. The whole inside came out like that. I thought I had to take a part. Everything it's all new to me. Definitely getting a new grip module or. Bottom frame for my 365 now. And the red one you had was dope. I can't believe it's that simple. I also love that trigger. I wanted to get one exactly like that, but keep the regular. Trigger system just trade the actual level out. I'll look to see if you have a video of how you did that, But now I'm definitely gonna order a grip module. They're on sale. Let me ask you this Every time I went to get upgrades from like eBay or wherever to try to save a buck getting it used never body pretty much says the excel and the little microare pretty much compatible with everything is that true? With a group module, or does it have to be the 365 the original micro? I don't wanna buy the wrong one. But if the XL works it would be nice to have a little bit more size on the bottom but not a big deal. I love the way the gun feels now. What's the 12 round mag and the extension? Great video thank you
What brand of grip modules are those? I’m curious about the triggers over there to the left. If I bought a 365 but wanted the flat trigger can it easily and affordably be swapped to be like the 365x or would I be better to buy the x and just another shorter grip module?
This has nothing to do with the 365 but you've helped me before with a question. I have a 320 compact 45 acp with a "s" grip with 9 round mags. Is there a grip out there like the carry? So I could put a 10 round mag on with out it sticking out on the bottom? Basically I just want a longer grip. Seems like there's nothing for the compact 45
Nice video. Does 313 Tactical offer the modular with the stippling and cerakote? I’m assuming it’s a new modular? Did you have your slide cerakoted too? Really like the look!
I’d love to know where you got that yellow camo grip module and the name of the brand and color! Thanks for your great content btw, just bought your pistol stand
That is a grip module that I had done by 313 tactical. I had a matching one for the P3 20 as well. It is actually currently for sale if you are interested! If so let me know and I can ship it with a gun stand. I really appreciate your support.
I just bought a new sig 365 from my gun shop, the tacpac with the 3 12 rounders and holster. They only had manual safety versions, would I be able to buy a new frame and just use that, or are there modifications to the slide as well that would make it non compatible?
That one was done by Odin’s for my local Match dealer. I actually won the raffle lol. Sold it back to the dealer seeing as I already had a few 365s. Odin’s Workshop does some pretty rad work.
Brandon Ramacciato many different companies customize them. I’m currently using ones made by Armory Craft. Loving them. Check out my FB page. facebook.com/Sig-Sauer-Guy-809690416068961/
Wow so simple. The p365 may be the greatest engineering feat in pistol history. I wanted a p365 with the XL grip but the base barrel length. One $40 module and 30 seconds of effort later I have a totally different gun. Glock would charge me $500 for this.
No stupid intros, or talking to hear yourself talk, just a fast and effective video.. THANK YOU.

Super video, thanks!
Very good video, straight to the point, no funky music, no talk about airplanes, just the stuff we wanted to hear. Thanks!

Thank you for a short, concise video. Amazing how few people understand how important that is.
Got stuck with the take down lever. Quick and easy solution that wasn't mentioned in a few of the other videos I watched. Thanks!
This is the best video for sig p365 grip module swap 👍🏻

Which grip module is this it’s so good
wait... the p365 has a removable FCU like the p320 does? Bruh.
Wow, Thank you so much, very straightforward instruction.
I needed this instruction because I am planning to buy Icarus 365 X Macro Module.
great content, to the point, and accurate. thank you!

This is the perfect tutorial. Thank you! Just subscribe looking forward for more tutorials on the sig!
How were you able to release the slide with the magazine in the firearm?
Which grip frame do you like better? the black or red framed one?
What grip modules is tht camo one called
Great instructional video. Thanks.
I had no idea it was that simple! Thanks!
Thanks for getting to the point and extra tips!
Great video. Where did you get that punch/tray tool?
this was very helpful. thanks!

where can you find the baseplates for those magazines by themselves?
perfect video @Sig Guy. Thank you.
How can i replace the slide lock on my SAS? I purchased a standard slide lock from Sig Sauer.
Thank you
Short and concise

Who did that texturing on the red gun?
What if I have the manual safety and want to remove it?
Excellent overview.
Thx for the video, made it simple!
Camo grip module!? Where did you get it done at?
Where did you get these modules??
Where did the first grip module come from?
Thanks that little safety lever was holding me up....
What brand trigger do you have on it?
Great video.

Is the Sig P320 armorer's block you used dedicated to the 320 or other than the punch does it work for the P365 as well?
Richard K it works for the 365 also.
You have a link to all those modules? I'd run every one of them. Clean looking piece
thank you.. i couldnt get the frame pin out hahah
hi Man
where I can get this grinish grip for sig 365 ?
Nice video. Does 313 Tactical offer the modular with the stippling and cerakote? I’m assuming it’s a new modular? Did you have your slide cerakoted too? Really like the look!
Clear and concise. But you didn't address replacing the mag release. My Wilson Combat 365XL grip module came without the mag release installed!
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get that red grip from or what company is it?
The red grip is from Armory Craft air.
Great looking grips bro. Who did your a stippling and coating?
It’s from Grayguns. I ordered the same one in sniper gray yesterday. Super excited
I literally want that exact same grip pattern, texture, and camo for my new sig! How do I get that same thing? Where can I order it? Thank you.
Contact Sergio at 313 Tactical. Show him a pic and I’m sure he can take care of you. Thank you for the compliment as well 🙏🏼
Hi, did you get the p365’s stippled at 313 also? They look awesome.
Excellent video. Thanks.
What color is that grip ?
How is the cerakoting holding up on that grip frame? im thinking about getting the same grip frame cerakoted.
Looks the same even years later.
How do I get a p365 grip like that?
Solid video thanks👍🏻
Excellent video
Any reason that I can't buy a 365XL grip module with-out the safety? Mine has it and I don't need it. Any fire control issues removing the safety?
Very easy to remove. No issues at all. th-cam.com/video/kr2HI5nYd-I/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
I’d love to know where you got that yellow camo grip module and the name of the brand and color! Thanks for your great content btw, just bought your pistol stand

@@SigGuy Is that camo 365 frame still for sale?
@@sroyboyk33 it was. Already sold it. Sorry bud.
I have the SAS. Where can I get grip modules for that. Says they don’t fit sas in armory craft.
I have a sas too, I’ve ordered a standard slide catch/release which will operate better and fit in regular grips :)
Does this work if you have the thumb safety model
Yes. Everything is exactly the same.
Awesome video buddy thank you
Thanks 🙏 very helpful video
Where was that module purchased?
Do the extra frames come with the Mag release installed? Thanks
Gear Barrel The only modules that do not come with the mag release are the XL modules. SIG is selling them separately for those for some reason.
Great video👍🏽but where can I get these new grips and aftermarket parts for my P365 ?
Scorpor Supremacy Armory Craft.
Sig Sauer Guy Thank you for the information.

Where did you get that trigger? Looking to upgrade my trigger bar soon
This is a very old video. I run the AC triggers in all my SIGs.
I just bought a new sig 365 from my gun shop, the tacpac with the 3 12 rounders and holster.
They only had manual safety versions, would I be able to buy a new frame and just use that, or are there modifications to the slide as well that would make it non compatible?
David Altergott Jr there are modules (frames) available for the MS models.

I'd like a frame without the safety
