- In the Test: "Bresser Biolux NV"
A quide good amateur microscope for beginner.
Tested with different includet prepared slides and
different camera setups. I recomment to buy the full HD
camera (60 bugs) for a better image.
I can't figure out what your ''usual desk lamp" is. Do you have some sort of ground glass filter clipped over an LED USB lamp? Please explain as I would like to try the Darkfield modification with my Bresser. Thanks 👍🏽
hey i see this microscope used for 45 euro should I buy? is it good?
@@FreePalestine711 I bought a new one for roughly €120. It was pretty poor quality and I sent it back. I spent twice as much and bought a Swift 380T. Make of that what you will.
@@Mick_Holland i was thinking of buying it too for like 40 or 50 bucks. what was wrong with it if i may ask?
Dear Sir,
I'm Portuguese and I was excited about your videos and the adaptation to dark field, so I bought a microscope just like yours.
I apologize for my bad English and for abusing your time.
1 - I've been trying to find a desk lamp similar to yours, but I can't find it anywhere.
Could you tell me what the brand is?
2 - The barlow is not adjusted. It's always slipping. Will it be my problem? Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry to bother you.
With my best regards,
José Maria Alves
Is it possible to upgrade this model with 100x objective ?
Hello, I try to connect my camera to my MacBook Pro, but that doesn't work, any help?
Did you found out?
sorry, I found it after a long time, how do I connect it to the computer?

5:17 How exactly did you mount the DSLR cam on the corpus? I see you removed the head of the microscope, but what things do you need to attach there and make it work?
I used a TS1 adapter, actually intended for astrophotography, to mount the camera. For longer use I glued a dust cover all around to keep the body clean. Here is the link to the adapter:

@@darklab8903 Thank you for posting this video! I also really enjoyed your Skyr video. Do you know of one of these monts that exists for Nikon?
What camera do you use? Bresser 2MP?
I used the supplied hd camera (0.9 megapixel). But I already shot some new videos with a fhd-camera from bresser... coming soon
I have Bresser FHD camera but I'm disappointed. Much darker picture than in my old 0.3mp Bresser camera :/ Additionally it has pink tint on some preparations. I think it's because of red coating on glass in front of sensor. So I'm looking forward for your samples with FHD camera.Look at my Pine Mature Wood oi64.tinypic.com/30js674.jpg
That's right. However, this is normal in photography and filming, where cameras with more megapixels display darker images because each individual light sensor is smaller in itself and therefore receives less light. But I can compensate this quite well with software.
@@darklab8903 You can also buy a Smartphone holder and use the original ocular. The Bresser camera has a really bad resolution.
Super low quality microscope. Although I was able to manage darkfield with the original shitty illumination for the 4x and the 10x objectives.
