I can’t remember which brother it was, but I remember hearing about one of them who played qb and basically had Christian’s athleticism while being a pretty good thrower
This was before the portal was “do whatever you want because it’s basically free agency” like it is now. He could have transferred to a larger program and wait a season while then still trying to compete for the starting job, or, he could play for his father and 100% guarantee be the starter. I’m sure if it was todays portal rules he would have transferred to somewhere bigger and if he didn’t get the job, then transfer to his dads school
Bet you could totally start for them if u did. I heard u can chuck a football over a mountain, oh and definitely would’ve won state if dad was coach. Unlucky I guess…..Dad sucked!!!
@@theamazingstopmotionkid1297 yeah, like you said, I could totally start for them… if my dad was the HC. I’d not matter if I’m good or not, dad would still put me in, as a starter. That’s exactly what happened here.

You don't know "easy Ed McCaffery " Listen to some of Christians stories from growing up. Dad was basically " you want it?" If so the whip cracks here. Not in a bad way but sacrifices and training schedules were epic
Gotta say their dad is a really cool dude. He had a mailbox at the UPS I worked at and he was very chill and low maintenance. Pretty rare for that area since most people that live near valor are pretty pretentious.
For everyone asking it’s saying he’s apparently still playing same college he transferred to with his dad like was it that hard to mention whoever made this
Soooo, he played quarterback for his dad and finished the season 3-8... the media should plaster this on every platform as a failure for the father/son duo... kinda like how they do Colorado
How easy do you think recruiting for that school is? Now with transfer portals and NIL$$ the haves and not haves or parity in CFB is history. Why do you think Saban said adios
He could have had a great career at Michigan (he seemed comparable in physical attributes to JJ McCarthy), but he just couldn't stay healthy. He showed a few flashes, but that was it.
Since I'm from the Greeley area (where UNC is), I'll tell you right now, I have yet to find someone who hasn't complained about the McCaffrey problem at UNC
Bro averaged 150 yards per game passing for a fcs school, had a 6-16 record as a starter while playing for his dad who was the head coach and you’re telling me and his production increased?
I even like Dylan but it's almost impossible to find anything about him, he doesn't even have a social network, does anyone know about him nowadays? what team does he play for?.
If your a Michigan fan your crazy, cause I’m a die hard Michigan fan and he was never a bad player but when you are the back up and got major injuries in back to back seasons ain’t no way he was lasting half a season healthy as a starter
funny i know a kid who i played JUCO with who was on the same team as this guy in highschool and was one of his wide receivers but wanted to play QB but couldn't cuz of this guy. He swears up and down he was better then him and his name is what made him a starter. The guy im talking about has only played 1 half of football in college and just entered the transfer portal after being named the 3rd string at a D2 lol. just a fun fact
What’s missing here is that his dad fucked up the athletic scholarship program at UNC and got fired after 2 seasons. UNC football sucked before they got there and thanks to Ed, it will suck for the foreseeable future
I realize most people who watch these are in their teens, but history lesson. While his brother is really good he's won exactly zero Super Bowls. You know has won three Super Bowls and was named one of the fifty greatest players in a storied team's history? Their father

I just looked it up he’s still playing college for that team and they’re currently 0-11.
@TripleJay454 thanks for giving us what we were looking for... that sucks for him and the team though 🤣

That’s Luke. He’s plays WR for the Commanders now.

He moved in.
Play for dad so he could get on the field.
Yes went to play for daddy so he’d start instead of being benched like he was at Michigan
Boy was starter at 3-8? Damnnn some guys are just lucky to have their dads.
But I guess not lucky enough for his dad to be a NFL coach.

But he started at Michigan...so it's not like he wasn't good enough to earn a scholarship somewhere decent obviously.

😂
The starting QB for UNC this year was Jacob Sirmon, Luke wasn’t on the team this season
Damn Big Mac be pumping out kids
My stepsister went to the same school during the same year as Christain mccaffreys brother. Damn it’s a small world

Christian McCaffreys the G.O.A.T
Scout team MVP and DAd’s team starting QB, probably had more fun doing that.
Even though i am straight i can see that Dylan McCaffrey is handsome.
Wait so Luke mcafrey like from Friday night lights
