Jackal babies always cute and hungry

This was the first time we found such small Jackal pups, north of Satara Rest Camp, Kruger National Park. Pups feed on mother's milk and regurgitated food until they are weaned at 2 months. Although a mother Jackal changes her den every two weeks to protect her pups from other predators, including eagles, we had this family close to the road for nearly three weeks to
