My grandparents had that exact same stove when I was growing up, except it was a different color. It was mint green with like a weird fake texture print. I'm not sure if it was a type of enamel finish or what. It was cool though, and my grandma's pride and joy of the kitchen.
I love the old stuff in real life more. I wish I could have experienced a stove like that.

Yeah I think you should give the illusion that the Asylum was attempting to cure depression by having blue shutters and maybe gold trim but those colors have weathered over the years making it very dull and dingy I think you should make the walls look as much like Stone as you can because it is an asylum after all we can't have the patients escaping! I read the book Girl Interrupted and most of the patients were meant to be there but Susanna actually admitted herself due to her mother's domineering command. it was the 60s so her family had to save face, but she wanted the world to know it was anything But. This is a really cool project! I love this and I will watch you complete this house. Nice job! ❤
@@sarahmccollum3694 yes it was like a prison. In the movie I was looking at the flooring, the walls, the windows. The outside is red brick. Wondering how I could create a facade on the outside 🤷♀️ thank you for sharing your ideas, and thank you for being here. 🤗
