Hadn't seen this since it aired. I was hugely rooting for Roger Haskell because we bowled in the same junior league one season (traveling trios 76-77). When our teams met he beat me all three games, which rarely happened.
Irishpogi, Thank you for the upload of the Stepladder Finals of the 1983 Long Island Open. Also, It looks like you have heard the news that Gary Mage has passed away.
I enjoy watching these tournaments from 1981 thru 1983 just before I became a fan in 1984. The early days of urethane balls. I think by 1984 all the pros were pretty much in urethane.
Thanks Irish, this is the year of Don's Infamous Gutter ball at Gable House in Torrance Ca , 4 or 5 yrs later Pete McCordic would roll his 300 game there for $100,000, was a local house for me so I would go watch them.
Crazy, Bo mentioned Don Genalo was the high average in league at this center so far that season with a 217 average. Nowadays 217 wouldnt even get you mentioned. Amazing how scores have increased so much in bowling in 40 years.
So wonderful to watch this. Brings back many memories of bowling in the morning league and then watching the Pros. Fun days.
Yeah those were good times, I started working at a bowling center this year 83 If I could go back to an era in my life this would be it!

Wouldn't know 3 of these dudes if they fell on me 😂
I bowl in tournaments in this house all the time
I finally figured out how to block that clown. He can no longer post comments on my channel.
@@irishpogihe actually makes similar comments on the videos he posts on his own channel! Very strange dude.
There's another guy who does that too.
I think he definitely has some... issues.

Really Bo, most league bowlers throw 12 # ball? I started in 73 with a 15#.😮
Dale Glenn allegedly changed his name to Dale Eagle attempting to evade paying money to his ex wife.
Then why is his wife’s name on some shows in 97 were her last name Glenn so what are you talking about
Yeah was Dale Strike for awhile then I think he changed it again
