My house from 1997-2007 😢 Miss Bowler’s Club man. Was a fantastic place! Last 300 game I bowled was in that place. I also converted the 7-10 split here. Haven’t been a league since it closed. Watching this makes me want to get back into it! Thanks so much for uploading this
EnigmaZero, It looks like you are planning to upload the Pba National Championship from 2000. Also, the Stepladder Finals of the Parker Bohn III Empire State Open were amazing.
Yes and no. I’ve bowled at this center (it was actually my first ever regional when I was 20, and I cashed and finished one spot ahead of Parker). They had super old scorched wood so there was always so much friction there regardless of the pattern that you’re right it could get difficult to make the ball shape downlane. I would attribute it way more to the characteristics of the center than the balls of the time, though.
@@bigyodatheman Unfortunately, this center is no longer around. I bowled a Pro-Am as a kid and high school sectionals there. Was a pretty good sized house, 40 lanes. A shame its gone.

First regional I ever bowled was at the Club. Finished 36th out of 120 as a 19 year old amateur. I’ll never forget that.
@@enigmazero8624Awesome!
First match, that's a lot of red balls up there.
The 4 matches in the Parker Bohn III Empire State Open had fantastic finishes

The incentive for the track enforcer must have paid more then the title paid. That’s alot of track enforcers on the rack
I'd love to see Jason Hurd against Wes Mallott for a championship
Ryan shafer all them shows but only 3 titles he won 2 in one year.
He gagged on alot of shows.
He didnt even throw it that good tbh ( fix your face )
Balls were so early and just puked down lane back then

I bet if they went back to this center you'd see the same thing. What I miss about when the PBA toured more and more less than perfect surfaces.

@@OneTrickRipperIt had 50 lanes.
It was my house from 1997 until it closed in 2007.
Agree. A shame it closed
@you're right, it is 50 lanes, memory is foggy as a child haha
