You're right. AE is going the way of JM and Cole Haan. For now, AE is still making all their classic shoes and boots in America of decent quality. I am focused on getting my AEs now while they're still decent. I have a pair Fifth Aves now and looking to purchase a pair of Park Aves. In the next few years, you see will Park Aves made with cheaper leather, memory foam insoles, EVA soles and cement construction in SE Asia somewhere. If you have any classic AEs on your bucket list, get them in the near future.
@@SeattleShoeGuy I've got three shoes by Carmina in my collection. For English shoes I tried Crockett & Jones, but didn't like the look and fit of the last.

What's your opinion on shoes from Mallorca?
The shoes from Mallorca are good. They use fine leather and the workmanship is above average. Some good brands are Meermin, Cobbler Union, etc
