Fully healed Hive Tyrant would be the most difficult enemy in whole SM2. Good we drop that statue on its head, other wise we'll be furked.

Hive tyrants can die it's just that their intellect is absorbed into the hivemind so better hive tyrants are born

For those curious, on the tabletop, a lone Hive Tyrant can wipe out a full 10 man squad of Intercessors (Tactical marines) in melee combat, and it's not even close.
Hive Tyrants are my favorite models. They're fun to build and super easy to customize.

i never noticed how wounded the hive tyrant is like if you slow down the vid and pay attention his arm is gone and the carapace on his back is shattered and flopping around the spore chimneys on his back are split down the middle and parts of him look like they could fall right off if he moved too fast

I wonder if he can technically die. His death animation is in a cutscene, so coyld he be killed without it?

He can die, but the death animation is tied to the cutscene, when it dies here it just stands still
