Hey guy i know this is a old post but i see you have a few losi lst cars. Im nee to theae old nitro cars. Im trying to hook up a newer flysky controller to my lst. My question is these servos are 18 years old im guessing but none of my servos are working. All of my trims are way off bad.
Hello bro..im newbie..can i use Life 6.6v batteries on normal/standart servo??..its will burn out??...only i know if im using 7.4v Lipo the servo will burn out..so how about Life 6.6v?...about Lipo if i full charge but at last i dont want to play,i must storage or discharged it?..sorry im very2 newbie here about Lipo or Life..i want to use those batteries bcoz i want to play last longer than Nimh btttry..please help me i want to learn..i just saw your video today

LIPO Batteries are the best batteries to use in any RC Vehicle. Just as Woogie states you have to be careful with them. DO NOT run them completely out or they will die. DO NOT leave them fully charged, EVER. That is how fires start. 🔥 Always discharge them to 3.5 Volts per cell or storage charge them. Which most newer chargers will do and they will charge each cell to around 3.0 to 3.8 volts. I only like to use LIPO's cause they are just super fast 💥and long lasting as long as you take care of them. @Woggie Nitro, why would you buy a discontinued radio? You could of got the 4PM which the receivers are way cheaper and you could of used the 334's or the 304's? just curious?

I had a quick question. I just got my 8ight T today and was wondering what solution do you recommend in case my receiver battery dies and the car runs away? Any certain failsafe you recommend?
Make dure you have a teturn spring or rubber band..i also use a glitch buster to equal out the power disbustment to the servos..make sure your receiver battery is fully charged

Great video! Can you, please, specify the part numbers for the front and rear hinge pins? I’m confused on the rear ones. I would go with LRC, but I have found three different ones: LOSA1755, LOSA1759 and TLR244028. My guess is that yours are the TLRs ones, but I want to be sure since they say are only compatible with Losi 8ight 4.0 and 8ight-e 4.0. I’m upgrading an 8ight t rtr. Thanks in advance!

I got a Futaba 4 PM radio with the sandbox steering servo mid range pipe some Badlands also some racing tires there’s a race track not far from me I’ve been there a couple times with the stock just looking for a happy medium all the way around
Unfortunately bashing erasing are two different things my suggestion is to have two sets of diffs one set up for bashing one set up for racing switch them out when you do one or the other

My son has a 450 all our bikes just sit no where to ride unless we leave the state for the day we have one local spot i get back too but yea I'm 44 i wont be riding pit bike anymore lol

Toys are looking good . I like the way TLR used to stack the servos side by side.

Life you battery will be fine just don't use a lipo and you don't have to put the lifes into storage mode like you do the lipos

No man. The only lipos that I got are a 4,000 milliamp that goes in my 5B and the 2 :5400 milliamp 3S packs are going my E-Revo

Without me going back into the video if we're talking about the AT RTR Truckee then I would just look for a set of 4.0 shocks from the TLR race kit
If it helps there 15mm shocks on the 2.0. Will those 4.0s fit?

No actually there are the stock RTR hinge pins just upgraded hinge pin holders also known as ABC and d blocks

If you're just bashing and not racing I would go with 50 in the rear 50 in the front and a hundred in the center
