You have performed a magic trick! You took a totally rotten piece of firewood and turned it into an art piece with character and beauty! You are so creative and talented, your imagination is definitely out of the “box”!
A very nice piece of work sir. A rotten piece of wood to a fine work of art. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you for sharing it with us.🌿 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hi Morgan you are an amazing craftsman and you always turn brilliant items. This bowl is magnificent and unique it really stands out. It's amazing what you can turn from a old piece of beam and sticks. Thank you for a great video Amanda xx
I must've missed the notification for this when it came out, but luckily, I came across it anyway. This little bowl is extraordinary. Your imagination and subsequent creations never fail to astound me.
The bowl is very beautiful and retains some of the mystical properties of the 'Rotten' piece of wood. However, the rotten piece of wood, in my mind, was a work of art by Mother Nature, I saw a cave, canyon, underground cavern etc. The end result still displays those qualities, brilliant art work. Thank you Morgan for posting, be safe and well 👍
Ah la la... si l'on pouvait la même chose pour nous, utiliser nos vieux défauts, nos vieilles craquelures pour en faire une œuvre d'art d'une telle finesse 😊 Bravo et merci... une fois de plus
You’ve done it again Morgan, you had me stumped 😂 as how this would look, when finished ✅. It’s so well conceived in that amazing brain of yours. Well done again my friend!
Hi 👋, BAW , That was a great idea most people would’ve thrown that away, I have some similar pieces down in my garden, from some old beams that I had to replace in my property a few years ago, And I have some logs that the internal part has rotted away, but the outer edge is still very good. might be a good idea to try to do something similar., I cannot afford resin at the moment I have to wait, What what you have achieved by using sticks I think it looks awesome. Well done. , Phil from the moulin France,
The X formed on the rim was a happy accident. I liked using the small twigs as filler, because they contrasted so well with the tree trunk part of the bowl.
What a cool piece! I watched you pour the clear epoxy and even read it in the description so where did all that beautiful black come from? You out did yourself again, thanks for sharing such beauty.
What about using the pellets out of a smoker BBQ grill? Mix up the different kinds and do a pour similar to this one? Love watching your vids as I am hooked on them ;)
Hi. Just wanted to say that you make beautiful work and to ask you about the silicone molds you use. Do you make them, or know where I can buy some if not? Thank you!
Hi Morgan, Again a great piece and astonishing result compared to the first state the wood was in! By the way, how did you get hold of the fluffy mold where you pour the resin in? I thought that is a very handy thing when working with resin? Love to hear from you! Cheers, __Frank

Yes, this is often the case with oak because it is a very resistant and durable wood.

hi phil
indeed it's an interesting way to highlight an old rotten beam and to avoid putting too much resin I filled up with small pieces of wood

thank you karen 💖
What a cool piece! I watched you pour the clear epoxy and even read it in the description so where did all that beautiful black come from? You out did yourself again, thanks for sharing such beauty.
enaid
the black is the oak wood which is impregnated with resin
Impressive! Started out looking like some garbage rotten wood with cigarette butts in it and you turned it into a gorgeous bowl worth thousands!
thank you so much 😊
I thought you lost it and was turning a full ashtray! 😅 However you produced something quite remarkable there, stunning work 👏
thank you so much Terry i'm very glad you like it 😊
