@@Deathmare235 because season 4 (and the last episode of season 3 for some reason) was never dubbed and when this movie came out many dub viewers had no idea season 4 existed. As far as the dub is concerned Jaden could have died for all anyone knew because he never returned

FullMetalFeline even in the dub it was implied he survived and fused with yubel. It literally ends the duel with him saying “I fuse my spirit with yubel.” So yubel being in him could be inferred without the need for the subbed version. Also nothing about the finale implied Jaden died. At most they implied he was stuck in the other dimension but that’s it, he never was shown vaporizing or anything of the sort. The duel was open ended at best so nothing about that would’ve caused his death. The ending line was more of he stayed back so everyone would be freed
I love that GX Dub guitar at 0:29. It really shines through and gives a better feeling to this scene than the Sub does. Ironically since I mostly prefer Subbed version.

Dawn Tymus I believe (because this is a 9 year old movie and I don’t even remember) it was was planned to be marketed on toonzai as well so they dubbed the cards ahead of time for the commercials. However that never happened and were too lazy to revert the cards back. Interestingly enough BBT has a lot of uncensored visuals but censored dialogue, while Pyramid and DSOD are very faithful to the original. So I like to believe a bit preparation for child marketing and a bit of 4kids inconsistency (not the first time).

This dub confused many. It shows Jaden alive with Yubel, which only happens in the sub, so that happened.

I always love seeing OG yugioh characters and monsters in updated animation. I really hope to see jaden in future works of yugioh.

Crimson Hero I feel like Yugioh is one of the few shows the dub is consistently better in, just due to the amazing voice work
