Yes, most use Sugru but I find it not that nice to look at. I even bought my own Sugru but decided not to use it. It's sold here but quite expensive, better to order directly from Sugru website during sale time. Custom Pista mount video coming soon.
I want to get this helmet but I am worried about the noise, I'd prefer not to wear ear plugs, just inconvenience and I also like to hear traffic.
Btw, what jacket model are you wearing? looks very nice
It is generally noisier but if you are maintaining high speeds for a long duration then it will be a problem, if just short trips I don't think the noise level will be too much trouble.. I do use it for short rides it's fine without ear plugs for me.
The jacket is just a generic jacket with Dainese logos and not original.. Haha..
Yep this helmet is loud cause of those vents, wish it was not so but then its for track use mostly. One of the best helmets money can buy.
I don't think it's just because of the vents even if I kept them all closed, I have tried other helmets with multiple vents and they weren't as loud as this one. That's why I can understand why the helmet comes ready with a set of ear plugs. :)
could a chin curtain like the windjammer help?
The helmet already has chin curtain, from my observation I believe the noise is from the wind passing over the shell, so the earplugs is still needed if you want to get the noise down.
TheSighBored yes maybe the material of the helmet isn't as sound proof as some heavy helmets. That could be the case.
we have a huge open space behind the neck, maybe the noise comes that way

I got the pista gp and i must say you are right 100 %
Best looking helemt..super comfort but at 130 km/h feel like you have the head out of a car window...wind noise is astonishing

agv is good. However, Alpinestars is better for clothes
Dainese is the parent company for AGV so it`s a match if you look at it that way. i own Alpinestars and dainese and both are just the same. dainese is a more perfect fit thus more expensive than alpinestars. but in the end it`s the same shit, different wrapping

I just get the cheap ones from Aliexpress. You can buy a bunch of them and dispose when they get too worn out, and get more later since they're cheap.

I've not tried the Shoei X-14.. But I think I'd still grab the AGV it just looks so freaking sweet. :D

Since agv pista gp is expensive and used for the track, which other agv helmet is better for road??
I intend not to take the bike for track purpose, just for touring and daily commute.
I wanted to own an agv glossy carbon helmet badly.
Love the AGV pista GP glossy carbon, like the one which you have.
It was one of my dream helmets to own, but saw many people suggesting that it's not good for the road, due to wind noise, but it's really good for that track.
Do all AGV helmets function the same way related to wind noise?
And if not AGV pista GP, which other AGV helmet is good (which is not track oriented, would love to own a carbon fiber helmet).

The quick solution is to use ear plugs to reduce noise, and it's only noisy after certain speeds, so if your daily is not high speed or long highway riding, using ear plugs won't be a problem. I'm not sure of the other helmet line up from AGV as I have not tested them out. You can get the CF gloss and if you feel it's not possible to deal with the noise, you can keep it as a collection/weekend and get something else for daily?

That's a pretty old bike, and quite pricey for an old bike. Personally I would not get one, it's old and even if well maintained previously, still requires care to make sure it runs good. The cost to maintain it is not that cheap even though it's old, so maybe it's better to get a newer bike.

I'm not that experienced with 250 bikes, but the Z250/Ninja 250R from Kawasaki is quite reliable. You can wait for the new styling Duke 250 / RC250.. Or the Yamaha R25, the Benelli TNT25 sounds pretty good, not sure about reliability.

Yes it's really noisy, I just had a ride 1.5-2 hours trip per direction in a single day, and my ears were ringing after that.. My bad for forgetting to bring earplugs..
What about the shitty no detents on the visor, that doesnt bother you? You can clearly see how the visor wont stay open on its own while riding at the begginning of the vid. This is a BIG problem to me, and i love this helmet but having second thoughts before purchasing
All motorcycle helmet visor won't stay open if you are going more than a certain speed, which is roughly 60-70 km/h and above, they are not designed to stay open at high speed. For this Pista, it is a race orientated helmet, and I believe they design it for that purpose, for race use, racers seldom have need for detents, it's either open while in pits, and closed while entering the track, hence no need for multiple detents. Try researching for replacement side pieces for the helmet, I was told there are different ones that come with the additional detents for street use.. Sold separately.
Have you tried to inter change the rear spoiler between the two if they fit? Have pista go so I will like to install pista go r rear spoiler on it cause both helmets look same
I have not personally tried to, or know of anyone that did it, but from my observations of the GP and GP-R it looks like the shell is still the same and I would imagine that the GP-R spoiler would fit it. It looks nice with the pointy bits but I think if the helmet should fall or drop from your hand while carrying or holding it, those pointy bits will probably make it easier to crack the spoiler.
@@thesighbored agreed but that's what makes the pista gp-r really stand out. Aside the beveled jaw line is the large aero spoiler.

Comparimg this to arai, shoei which one is the least noisiest and which do u think is best Sighbore!!?
I have not tried an Arai, but this is definitely much noisier than a Shoei.

But you cannot deny the Pista/Corsa looks super nice & sexy though.. Price wise is a killer.

What do you think of this helmet for an upright position like a hypermotard ?
It's designed more for leaned forward position but as long as you're comfortable you can ride a motard with it as well.

Klim Helmets? Just went ahead and checked them out. Not that many helmet range they have at the moment. Can't say I've heard of Klim, it's not available here where I am. I'd be happy to review it but shipping a helmet here is quite tricky as it requires a permit by my country's customs. Without one, they will not allow the item to clear customs.
Dang, Klim is one of the best, if not the best in riding gear here in the states. If you google Revzilla, a very reputable gear site you can take a look at Klim (klim or Arai are my preferences) AND they may ship to were you are. Heck, i'd contact Klim thru 800# or email or something ask them why....maybe even start a
distribution center, more investor money out there than ya think that back these ventures:)
That's nice to know, but in my country I don't believe there's Klim here. Shipping the helmet here is no problem from your end, but when it arrives at my customs, then it will get stuck. I know because I've been there and done that before, ordering helmet from overseas.. I didn't know about the law or permit thing. However if they do manage to get a distributor/dealer here then it would be easier.
Can you wear glasses with this helmet?
I didn't try but I think it won't be so good since there's no cut-out for ears.

Some sell the older Pista around 3k plus still expensive.. Latest ones 4k plus.. Too crazy price..
