If you are a Spanish speaker, you may notice that Illia reads a lot, he always quotes. One of the books I've noticed that he quotes a lot is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. This book talks about the law of attraction and Ilias' philosophy is based a lot on that
Its all about Law of attraction, they repeat tô themselves the right things, conor and ilia never said: I WANT be champion, they said: I Will be champion. Everything you repeat for yourself after months you start believing. Think, fell, act like the person you want to be and you will be it
It’s not I want to be or I will be it’s I am . In the present tense. When Conor was driving around in his shitty little car he visualized himself driving a Ferrari in that exact present moment not in the future. If it’s meant for you and you know you can achieve it then it’s already destined for you. If it’s destined for you, you will not Be you already are
Ilia has always talked very highly of his parents and especially his brother. His family is from Abkhazia. The region was taken over by a militant rebel group that wanted to exterminate all Georgians in the area. Lucky his family fled through the harsh mountain to escape to Tbilisi. If it wasn’t for that decision his parents and unborn brother would have been a part of the 450 Georgians killed in Abkhazia. Ilia shouldn’t be alive, and this fact has not been lost on him. He owes his life to the sacrifices of his parents. He truly believes if he fails he would be failing the people he owes his life to. He’s mind cannot comprehend the idea of defeat because defeat means he has failed to repay everything that lead him to existence.
Thank you so much for your videos! I get to learn a lot and it helps me immensely in my goals, I am going to be Olympic 100m and 200m Champion in the 2028 Olympics so tune in that day since I am the guy whose going to win it and I'm the guy who watches your videos

Another great video! It’s amazing to see how self-belief and mental toughness propel fighters like Conor and Ilia Topuria to the top. That unshakable confidence in themselves is truly their secret weapon that sets them apart. Thanks for this insightful analysis!
Great video, thanks for your hard work! One question - these are some incredible men, of course. Very admirable their confidence. But what are the pitfalls of having such extreme self-belief? For instance, McGregor has had a terrible downfall after Khabib took his soul (my favorite video of yours), Is there a difference as to how topuria and Khabib gained their confidence? Thanks again mate, these videos are always perfectly timed and just amazing quality. Keep going man, you’re gonna blow up, I believe it🔥
Hey Justin! Thanks for dropping by and showing love, it's appreciated greatly. While I'll never know exactly what goes on in their heads, I think Conor actually lost his self belief and the guy who showed up to fight Khabib and Dustin was a shell of his former self. If you really listen to his interviews, what really happened to him is that he lost faith in himself. In the documentary, he talks a lot about breaking promises to himself. Saying he wouldn't drink, then drinking. Saying he'd train at a certain time, then not showing up. Ilia got a lot of flack for this instagram post he made where he thanked himself for always coming through for himself, never giving up despite having many reasons to do so. A lot of people said it was narcissistic in nature, but I think his message got misunderstood. The huge difference between him and Conor is that he's able to fully trust himself and keep all promises he makes to himself, whereas Conor lost that, and his subsequent losses were just a delayed reflection of that. In my opinion, at least. Who knows. Hope that answered your question Anyways, thank you again for the support, really does mean the world!
Thank you so much for making this. Your videos are a joy to watch and always inspire me to train harder. Ilia's journey is impressive, the fight's gonna be awesome.
You're very welcome my friend. I'm actually thinking about turning the Ilia/Conor videos into a series, if people would be interested in that. Thanks for stopping by
One thing that all these commentary about champions' psychology misses is the feedback loop of successive successes. When you win your first fight (or any goal in life) it gives you a boost in confidence that you're gonna win your next goal. And when you do win, your confidence grows even bigger .. and bigger .. and bigger, until you possess that aura of invincibility. You can't have this supreme confidence based on belief alone. It builds up gradually through belief AND accumulated results
guys like pereira don't even talk much to follow through, but normal silent people just look shy. there has to be something else beside just confidence...
@@PsychologyOfTheFightI'm in love with ur videos buddy I enjoy every single one of them no matter what so just keep making them, you'll have my support always But Conor and Ilia are different animals, they're my favorites 🧠💪🏻
yea sure it's easy to say all this about these top 2 guys. But how many thousands of other fighters have the same bunch of supportive team members, sad backstory, will to kill, and still they don't make it? you'll never even hear their name! Furthermore, look at Conor now, he even has billions to boost his confidence that you talk about, and where does that land him in? He's running away from fights. Ok maybe that is going overboard. My point here is: imagine if all the fighters have that delusion that they will win, but there can only be one winner, how do you determine who will actually win?
Ilia is a fake Conor wannabe. He gots no personality and his voice is ugly. Copying everything Conor did and how he acts like his tattoos and press conference antics. Conor will always be the realest. That's why they put him on this documentary
Another concept related to Ilia (that I remember from one of your previous videos!) is "Burning The Boats." He basically talks himself up to the point of no return, where he has no other option than to succeed... otherwise his "aura" and "reputation" would be completely lost. So winning is the only option, at all costs. Great video as always!
You really watch my stuff bro means a ton! Thank you, and I agree. He definitely gives himself no other option but to perform. How are you bro? I see the channel is popping off!!
You got Ilia or Max this weekend? Love you all
Max by flying armbar
Ilia by a slight margin
Ilia by decision.
Ilia will prolly Knock Down Max and then submit him, he won't KO/TKO him because Max's chin is too strong, but he will definitely wobble him.
Ilia.
Extreme competence+extreme confidence= Intense aura
Noisy or silent, it doesn’t matter.
