Screaming Bowling Balls from a Medieval Trebuchet

Bowling balls weighed 14-16 lbs and were traveling 220-250 yards. Counterweight box total weight on the day was maybe 1500 lbs.

I think the box is around 500 lbs, and there are between 800-1400lbs of sand bags inside.
