Well... I made this (tweeked a bit. Aether Vial, Braid of Fire, and Cryptic Gateway are some really good additions) and it was a powerhouse at my local FNM. Most play groups competitive, and this deck cleaned house 3/4 four player games. The last game they were able to effectively team up and get me HAHA!. Thanks a lot for posting this video, duder!
Coat of arms + pandemonium. Stack of tokens hit the field as x/x krenko+5 goblins= 6 tokens @ 11/11 pandemonium sees 11 power and pings 6 targets for 11 damage.
Taking out the hate and kiki, and some of the more expensive cards, and softened up with more act of treason effects and weenie goblins will hopefully make more friendly for my playgroup. Im trying to get a 7 or 7.5 power level.
It's like my Zur deck, I only take it out for tournaments, never for casual. :) I like the tuck rule, it means I don't have to run the tuck spells and can use other removal/counters instead.
ssvr6 yea zur is ridiculous lol but im starting to be on the fence about tuck now I like it because I do believe generals should always be available but some generals get an upgrade in how much more resilient they are and make them more broken like sliver hivelord lol
you need halls of the bandit lord, its a land that makes 1 colorless mana and you have to pay 3 life to activate it but if the mana is produces is spent to cast a creature spell that creature gains haste until the end of the end of the turn, i have used it so many times to get krenko out and activate him the same turn its amazing.
Sol ring is op, i currently run a yasova dragonclaw EDH deck that just steamrolls because i buff yasova up then take their best creature, and i put perplexing chimaera in case they try to counter anything BTW its a three color temur, blue green red
FadedHexx I love burn at the stake I use to have that in here same with warstorm surge and mob justice:) impact tremors was tempting to put in with how cheap the mana cost is but goblin bombardment pretty much does the same thing plus a sac outlet to enable infinite combos. warstorm surge is such a great red card for commander but in my krenko deck its to expensive I put shared animosity in its place and burn at the stake can only target one player if it could target everyone I would think about keeping it in my deck
The Commander Lounge My Krenko is a hybrid creature/direct dmg deck. I forgot to mention Flame Fusillade and Goblin warstrike. all this stuff gives the deck a lot of utility. The flood is real!
Goblin Assassin NEEDS to be in this deck. It is pretty much the ultimate creature control because it will make them sack their creatures. It gets around hexproof as well as indestructible. although it can slow krenko down a tad due to the fact that you will be saving creatures also, but the end result is complete board wipes for your opponent every time you tap krenko!!
This deck looks fun, but it doesn't feel like a cEDH deck to me. If you're at a table with some big hitter's like Zur, Thrasios, Breya, Prossh, Teferi, or the like, I feel like this deck would have a really hard time.
The Commander Lounge Exactly, nobody expects anything out of it, they see stuff like stun, zap, expedite and then they realize "Ooooooh". It's not as competitive as Krenko but I pulled off some otk's in multiplayer games with 4 peeps (me and other 3, just so I'm clear). Thing is, Zada is amazingly fun to play.

It can be done with less goblins if you have the mana. 6 goblins 2mana 5 goblins 4 mana 4 goblins 8 mana 3 goblins 12 mana 2 goblins 20 mana Just krenko and 32 mana All these still require ability to sac for red and haste
I dont leave home without Arms Dealer. That guy deals with so many threats. Seriously card is bananas. Not sure how I overlooked Treasonous Ogre. Our decks are like maybe 5 cards different. 4 after I find room for the ogre. You definitely need to run Brightstone Ritual and Battle Hymn. They cause you to go off almost every time. Also while it costs a lot of mana. I have never cast Insurrection AND lost the game. Maybe its a coincadence, but I dont think it is.
I'm honestly i now know about the skirk prospector combo. I've run that card forever ans never known about the combo. Same thing with goblin sledder who is only like 0.25c or less.
Two cards that i run that i didn't notice in here (or maybe i missed them) Hall of the Bandit Lord, 3 life to give Krenko haste early game is pretty nice. Kyren Negotiations is another i didn't see, you can use it just like goblin bombardment but it doesn't work as a sac outlet, however if you need a sac for like thornbite you can tap one token to kill the other. Is there any reason you chose not to include these two?
austin is wrong. all creatures go to the graveyard when they die, however the next time state based actions are checked they get exiled. i don't know the exact rule number but last time i did a rules check that was something i read. I also play grave pact in my edh deck so i had a similar query when sacking tokens.

I mean, if you want to build a deck that instantly wins in EDH why not just run Mikaeus? You get the same reaction from everyone else and you can build the deck for less than a blood moon.

Nice Deck- probably one of the best in 1vs1 commander. I also brewed my frist Commander-Deck with Krenko and Goblins. I never lost a game with it. How does it perform in multiplayer?

Now this deck is very funny. Almost as evil as Oona Mill, but not quite. I feel that the Splinet Twin-Goblin Sharpshooter combo is a little confusing. Don't you need a LOT of other 1/1's out for this to work? This shouldn't be a problem because you can go infinite with Krenko, but just asking. Also, I don't think you factored in Commander Tax with the Skirk Prpspector-Sacrifice combo for infinite Krenko triggers. But other than those few things this is a great deck tech! Keep it up! Also, how much would this cost to build? *EVIL LAUGH*

The combo goes like this. 1 - Tap original Sharpshooter to make Copy A. 2 - Tap Copy A to kill X/1. 3 - Untap both the original and Copy A. 4 - Tap Copy A to do 1 damage to opponent, tap original to make Copy B. 5 - Tap Copy B to deal 1 damage to itself, killing it. 6 - Untap both the original and Copy A. 7 - Repeat steps 4 through 6 any number of times.
Kirashio Yeah, that gives you an infinite number of purphoros triggers... But to make the two piece combo work on its own, you need an additional x/1 piece. Edit: nvm. Ran the numbers through my head and it actually works.
+jose cose coat of arms is a great card for this deck.. I use to run it but when purphoros god of the forge came out I opted to replace coat with it because its harder to answer and also shared animosity is basically a 3 mana coat of arms in this deck
Coat of Arms has one benefit over Shared Animosity. If you tap Krenko for at least five Goblins while Coat of Arms and Warstorm Surge are on the field you shoot for lethal instantly because they enter the battlefield as X/X where is X is the number of goblins you control. Of course Purphoros is the more effective choice. ^^
I don't entirely remember I know mana is tight in this version so shared animosity I believe is in here plus between that having purphoros and a bunch of infinite combos as win cons I probably thought coat of arms may have been too redundant and too expensive mana cost wise for this competitive version.... but its a great card I have it my other version of krenko that cuts on combos and non basic land hate
It’s hilarious what a “competitive” edh deck looked like 5 years ago. It’s equally funny that this deck was only $500 4 years ago. I think wheel of fortune is $300 ish on its own right now. This “cEdh deck could win turn 4 if everything goes just right”.. that’s a very casual deck by today’s standards Cool deck though and I’m using a lot of these ideas in my casual deck. pyroporcupine If you don't need to go get answers removal wise and knew I would be set for land drops to turn four I would grab ringleader on the top to draw all my gobos,, skirk prospector,goblin warchief, kiki jiki, lightning crafter...it sets you up for too ways of comboing out ...you can add a instigator or lackey if you know you can get in the red zone its a lil slower though but I think that's the correct way to use ringleader on turn 2 :)
It is a great starting point to learn commander it being mono colored and pretty much a str8 forward strategy...it sux though how just trying to do a fun tribal goblin deck it just doesn't even come close to competing after a wrath... I don't think there is a sweet spot for building krenko he's either boring late game "after a wrath" or he's not fun to play against.
yea its solid it either combos real quick or aggros real fast.... some games you can run into go wide get wrathed do nothing but there are so many combos in this deck once one gets answered u should be almost lined up for another combo
pyroporcupine the easiest way is having krenko. a haste enabler, skirk prospector and I believe 6-7 goblins that makes it so you can double all the gobos sack krenko and recast it over and over from the command zone infinitely...mana echoe does work with the untap equipments for infinite mana....skirk prospector is probably the main way to easily get infinite mana... you can also kiki a warren instigator or siege gang commander with either mana echoes or a untap equipments ...there are probably more ways but that's what I can explain right meo hope I helped :)
Im building this deck, actually, for a competitive matter, i kinda went abroad and made a few changes, added a Price of Glory, Gauntlet of Might (felt like spending money). Stuff like htat. Its almost finished, and when its done, its gonna kick ass. Im also thinking into adding a Bonfire of The Dammed. What do u think?
I thought about it but with impact tremors, purphoros, god of the forge, and shared animosity plus combos I didn't feel it needed anymore cards like that.... I believe its 4 mana to cast it also which for that reason I wouldn't replace it with any of the cards I states above
i feel caritative, why not. I'm actaully building this deck, but my version focuses a little more on mana locking. Ok. pretty much, the biggest combo enabler in the deck is Kiki-Jiki, hes not the best guy, but he can pull out most of the stuff, for example, if u equip him a Thornbite Staff, have a sacrifice outlet (Phirexian Altar, Goblin Bombardment, Skirk Prospector) and another creature, u pretty much can go infinite, either on dmg or mana. Also, there is Zealous Conscripts, if u have it both this card and Kiki-Jiki on play, u pretty much can go infinite Zealouses, due that u can use Zealous effect on Kiki-Jiki, ''gain control'' over him, untap it and then keep on doing more and more Zealouses. Same with Lightning Crafter. THere are quite a few combos in the deck actaully. Krenko with untap artifacts. Make lots of goblins and shit, there's a lot of stuff going around. U either win with infites combos or with a ton of dmg from tons of goblins.
if you go infinite and especially have multiple ways of doing it is not the point of commander, it was suppose to be for fun and this is not a good deck to play with friends no one will like you or want to play with you lol, but it is a good deck if you are trying to win a tournament or piss someone off lol

There's an awesome combo that goes with this. And it only takes 4 turns if you're lucky.
Goblins definitely aren't the best for "friendly" games. It's not that they're unbeatable or anything, but they win in a pretty demoralizing way lol

While my goblin deck runs Purphy at the helm instead of krenko, you did give me some ideas.
If you like damage I would suggest adding bonfire of the Damned to the deck, it deals damage triple the amount of creatures taped for it.

the combo you described with skirk prospector and krenko would't work because he would cost 2 more everytime he died
The goblin tokens you get from tapping krenko add up much much faster than the commander tax if you start out with enough goblins on the board.

I thought about it but with impact tremors, purphoros, god of the forge, and shared animosity plus combos I didn't feel it needed anymore cards like that.... I believe its 4 mana to cast it also which for that reason I wouldn't replace it with any of the cards I states above

i feel caritative, why not. I'm actaully building this deck, but my version focuses a little more on mana locking. Ok. pretty much, the biggest combo enabler in the deck is Kiki-Jiki, hes not the best guy, but he can pull out most of the stuff, for example, if u equip him a Thornbite Staff, have a sacrifice outlet (Phirexian Altar, Goblin Bombardment, Skirk Prospector) and another creature, u pretty much can go infinite, either on dmg or mana. Also, there is Zealous Conscripts, if u have it both this card and Kiki-Jiki on play, u pretty much can go infinite Zealouses, due that u can use Zealous effect on Kiki-Jiki, ''gain control'' over him, untap it and then keep on doing more and more Zealouses. Same with Lightning Crafter. THere are quite a few combos in the deck actaully. Krenko with untap artifacts. Make lots of goblins and shit, there's a lot of stuff going around. U either win with infites combos or with a ton of dmg from tons of goblins.

if you go infinite and especially have multiple ways of doing it is not the point of commander, it was suppose to be for fun and this is not a good deck to play with friends no one will like you or want to play with you lol, but it is a good deck if you are trying to win a tournament or piss someone off lol
