    Enjoyed that, pick mine up this week, same year, same colours and as you say, it’s a second bike for commuting and it sounds like I made the right choice based on your comments.

    I just purchased a 2025 Trident special edition, I have had liter bikes, HD big cube cruisers sport tourers and this one is my absolute favorite bike. It's my one and only bike, don't need anything else.

      I like the look of the special edition a lot. Plus, all the addons for the same price make it a great deal. Good all-around bike. Congrats, and thanks for sharing your feelings on it.

    The one thing that has made me set on trading in my Harley and buying this is that dang suspension!! It's so plush and comfortable.

      Appreciate you for taking the time to share. It is pretty comfortable without a doubt. Which Harley did you trade?

      @@MotorcycleDemoRiders Well I still have the Harley Iron 883 Sportster but I plan to trade in for the Trident 660 or the Tiger as I went yesterday to check them both out. The Trident is a perfect fit for me but I need good wind protection living in Northeast USA cuz it's always cold, windy and raining up here and I have some highway commuting needs so the Tiger makes more sense for what I need but the Trident is such a great looker and fits me like a glove and the suspension is so nice so I'm battling between needs and wants right now. I don't believe there is many windshield options for Trident that will be very effective but I may be wrong so I gotta do more research. I basically narrowed it down to Trident 660, Tiger Sport 660 & 900.

    This looks like a good replacement for my EVO Sportster. I am definitely checking this bike out.

    They have a "Trident Tribute Edition" as a tribute to the bike they used for the Isle of Man TT races decades ago. That comes with about $650 worth of add-ons, including their up/down quickshifter. Though oddly it's the same price as the standard model. I think that one provides a real bang for your buck just for the quickshifter alone which is typically about $350 on its own.

      It is interesting to see that one at the same price point. Its labeled as a 2025 year and is very well equipped for the money. I like the paint scheme also! If you are interested in the Trident and can get one of these it would be worth it in my opinion

    • @michaelegginton7657
      @michaelegginton7657 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just got one and it's worth it, even the very tiny screen is useful, no wind buffetting that I can feel and I am 6'2

      @@MotorcycleDemoRiders well, it seems the reason it was at the same price point is because they just refreshed the model for 2025. Up/down quickshifter AND cruise control comes standard now and they kept it all at the same price (slight extra for the more vibrant paint jobs). They also made their bluetooth connectivity standard which use to be a ridiculous add on for a bike in the 2020s. They also added some tech that quite frankly, a naked bike at this level probably doesn't need like 6-axis IMU but hey, if they're adding it while keeping the price the same, won't find me complaining about it.

    Are you in my head?!?!? I was literally going to suggest the 660 yesterday to you 😂😂😂

      Lol perfect timing! Anytime anyone wants to request a bike I will try my best to get it. Plus it helps if I can go to the dealership with a lot of requests as they know it will get views.

    By the way, Tridents come equipped with Triumph Shift Assist from the factory, so they have both an up and a down quickshifter.

    • @MotorcycleDemoRiders
      @MotorcycleDemoRiders  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Its a $340 option in the US. Is it a factory feature in your country?

    Would this be a good upgrade coming from a Z400? I'm interested in the Z650 and the Trident 660. Which would be better? All experienced opinions would be appreciated. Im about 5'10" 32" inseam.

    • @MotorcycleDemoRiders
      @MotorcycleDemoRiders  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      From the z400 the Trident would be a fantastic next bike! I like the Trident more than the z650. Its a little more money but to me its a better overall bike when it comes to specs and feel. Your height wouldn't be an issue on either bike. The z650 is a fine machine and I like the looks of it but the feel was lacking for me compared to the trident.

      @@MotorcycleDemoRiders I appreciate the feedback. I really like the looks and sound of the Trident. I am a casual rider not looking to race or ride wheelies these days. I think the HP would be plenty for me. I enjoyed the video. Best wishes to you.

      Z400 owner as well, same boat as you. Z650's looks cool but lacking in the sound department w that 180 degree crank. Hope you find a suitable upgrade!

    It's odd that the special edition has quickshifter and some other goodies same price. If you like this bike, get the special edition 100%!! (well there is a 500 cash rebate on this one)
    This is at that price point I would have to dig a lil deeper and go for the 765.
    Tail looks good too on this bike. way better than those huge anchors off the tail section imo

    Im 250lbs 6 foot. Is this bike too small for me?

    • @MotorcycleDemoRiders
      @MotorcycleDemoRiders  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think so at your height but would try the seating and positioning feel before you buy one. Its very slim and may feel cramped for taller riders. If you do sit on one I would be interested to hear how it felt

  • @TheBlackSheepBoy
    @TheBlackSheepBoy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    How tall are you? I've been seeing different riders on it and it looks tiny!

      @MotorcycleDemoRiders  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am 5'9 with a 30 inch inseam. It isn't a large bike and does have a slim profile which lends itself very well for lane splitting and filtering.

      Hey buddy, i,m 5ft 9 and it fits perfectly, if you are over 6ft, you probably need to sit on the bike, for size.

      @@MotorcycleDemoRiders It is thin, it is not that long, and it is fairly light. Pocket Standard. Much better than the 250, 300, 400cc beginner Sports Bikes.
