    Can’t wait for the day people realise English is a language and not a measurement of intelligence

    • @terrymuyambo1028
      @terrymuyambo1028 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That will probably be the day they stop teaching it in schools and making people write exams on it

    • @HKNYN1
      @HKNYN1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Terry Muyambo you realise that’s only the case in English speaking countries or are you that stupid that you think the whole world writes exams in English?

    it's very childish to crucify this man for not being fluent when speaking a second language. The purpose of language is for us to understand each other and we all understood him. The other things like accent are nothing but abstractions. Grow up, will you!

      being fluent doesnt mean your dialect it only means you can speak a language without stopping and for the most part he spoke without stopping so hes pretty fluent, sounding British or American or like a French person speaking English is still English its just a different dialect recognise that!

    Even if his english is broken, that does not mean he is illiterate , most probably he speaks 5 - 6 other languages. My heart goes out for our young people, things are really difficult in South Africa, every one suffers in one way or another I just pray that things will improve.

      Some of our people are so fixed to the Western way of living and speaking that they forget their African Heritage. English is not his mother tongue so even if he speaks it in a broken fashion he is most importantly relaying a message.
