Yo! starting this week with so much excitement, I feel like I'm 11-12 again, waiting for a wrestling game with such anticipation, that's something that hasn't happened for me in exactly a decade at this point.
2 things to think about if I remember correctly: 1) in SVR 06 and 07 in GM mode: the champions never actually come out to the ring with their titles, unless the title is on the line. So hopefully you can fix this in a future update. And 2) Sometimes you can't set up title matches because of popularity, so hopefully a future update can disregard popularity when you want to do a title match. (Sometimes for fun, it'd be nice to watch someone like Hurricane in a world title match 🤷🏽♂️)
i think gm mode is awesome, but the legends and some superstars need to be tweaked like the LOD needs to be in the 65-70 range and they did Christian dirty😂 other than that its perfect(fun fact:Tatanka was supposed to be in the roster but they gave it to Steven Richards)
because popularity is based on position on the card, not who necessarily gets the loudest cheers and absolutely not by whos the most loved on the internet.
Does the CPU have to deal with things like injuries and morale? It always bothered me that I had to deal with injuries/unhappy stars but the AI didn't. If not, is there any way you think you could change that?
God yes, that was my least favourite thing about GM Mode. My superstar loses 5 matches ina row and it's the end of the world because he signs for the other brand. Meanwhile, someone on the AI's show loses 5 in a row and everything's fine and dandy for them.
Love the work you've done with every game you've released, can't wait to get my hands on this! Hopefully in the next update when the roster limit is bumped up the popularities will be rebalanced. 06 had the most annoying variety of popularity out of the three games (Christian should not be 57 popularity when he was in the world title picture and was extremely popular before he left imo) where more than half the roster wasn't viable to build a show around, so my brother and I would always draft the same 24 people and not much would change. And while the additional superstars certainly helps that, half the roster still looks unviable to draft.
I think Christian’s popularity rating is accurate. Yeah he was in the World Title Picture in the Summer of 2005 but WWE dropped the ball. They shoehorned Jericho into what should’ve been his feud with Cena, and he got drafted to SmackDown where he was stuck in the midcard until he left later that year.
Oh christ. Can't wait to see how fast I book my show to hell with A-Train as my world champ. 2 questions. Will the money level be increased for GM Mode? Is there any chance of you being able to replace the Bashams in the ECW Season storyline?
What’s your thoughts on the popularity of each superstar? I think that they could’ve even it our better like SVR 2007. Like I get that Joy Giovanni wasn’t that important but a 22? Omar least give her high low to 40’s
is the AI any different? one of my biggest peeves in this game is that the AI can never do a irish whip rebound grapple, or just a regular irish whip without initiating a standing grapple first

I slapped Bischoff, coach and Vince on my DE Gm mode . Pretending vinces ego is what put him on the roster. 👌🏻👌🏻
