This is what happens when you don't feed your dog. I'm sure he hadn't eaten in days and he was in pure survival mode. Ummm.... yeah, that's the reason. 😃😃😃
I trained my Black Lab Roscoe (Rest in Peace) by taking a rolled-up newspaper or magazine and slapping it against my thigh or open palm. The loud noise it made would snap his attention away from my food. After a fashion he knew anything I had was off limits to him until I shared. But my granddaughters would come over and sit eating a PBJ sandwich while watching TV. They'd leave it on a plate on a TV tray, come to the kitchen for a drink and when they got back Roscoe would be lying on the floor licking his chops and the sandwich nowhere in sight.
Of course you can't "trust" a puppy. You have to cherish him like a 2 to 3 year old child and make sure you have all of the safety latches on the cabinets, nothing anywhere that they could get into that would hurt them, etc. Yes, trainig them is optimal, but until you do, don't scold them for something you should protect them from. Or for a You Tube video.😊
If you do t want the dog to eat it, give him a prime rib steak and a chew bone that is like it and then hurry right back before he finishes the steak. Dog are friends and not stupid.
Woody was framed! 😂
It’s not your fault you don’t have much patience Woody. You’re just a puppy.
he passed with flying colors in my eyes!
He's a lab. He can't help himself.
Good job Woody! And the test results are in and Woody you are a Labrador Retriever!
It would appear that Woody has his hoomans quite well trained.
Woody is like screw you free food!
Woody is just a four-legged baby at the moment. He's only got 2 things on his mind. Food and sleep
Way to go Woody! Your Ninja skills are kicking in!!!!!😅
Aw, poor Woody needs to learn the “leave it” command. Then lots of love and rewards when he does it right.

😂 You have to make him sit and say "Wait" and "No"..."Don't eat it" might be too advanced for him. 😂😂

Cant blame a puppy for anything, but if you add a jalapeno he might not do it again
Bad form setting your dog up to fail. What did he learn out of this other than there is no punishment for that behaviour?
You are not testing trust.
You are testing impulse control. You are setting the dog up for failure.
Dogs will be dogs. Just don't leave chicken with bones around for him to get. No bueno.
That’s just down right mean to that poor innocent baby
Hopefully you didn’t eat after the dog!
You need to take his collar off.
