- Phra Ram 9 is an area of Bangkok, very close to the centre of the city. While it’s perhaps not pretty or traditionally Thai, living in Rama 9 has loads of great advantages and ill cover all about it in todays video!

Hidden Gem 💎 Rama 9 .. Man I love Bangkok and I’m definitely down to hangout in Rama 9 and checkout the night markets , street food and more street food and wow so many condos .I’ll need to check it out when I’m back . Thanks Rob for sharing with us and definitely looking forward to seeing more about this area and I agree with noodles 🍜 yumm .

I was there for a few days about a month ago. Absolutely loved it! Stayed in the one9five building (through Airbnb). It was sparkling new and fresh. Not the best view from the pool but the gym and garden areas were top-notch! I can tell you're aiming for Ashton Asoke Rama 9. Looks absolutely amazing! Probably my favorite building(s) in the area. I like your taste. Cheers!
Actually I didnt like the Ashton at Rama 9 for a couple of reasons that ill get into another day. Knightsbridge Prime and Line were my Fav

My budget is a mess so im the worst person to give advice for that.. I will try though.. give a run down on costs that I pay myself and share all my bills from 2022

Great locale. I have an office in G Tower. MRT access is ideal. Only downside is no real pub for a decent meal and pint in the area, need to run down a couple of stations to Asoke / Sukhumvit.
I dont visit the pubs to be fair.. kind of moved here to get away from people back home haha saying that.. a roast dinner has to be done soon.. i miss it!
Staying there now. Excellent spot for eating. Love the food court at the Lotus market in Fortune Town.
I’m not a fan of that court but then again I can’t eat spicy Thai food so my choices are very limited

I'm at life asoke Rama 9 and very pleased with the condo and the location. Condos communal areas are really nice and always have loads of staff working and maintaining the building.
Also only 2 stops to Sukhumvit or short taxi and can even walk it tbh. How come you decided not to stay here?
Only because I got such a good deal on a condo with a bath.. I think next year I’ll 100% be in Rama 9
I'm planning to move to Bangkok from England some time towards the end of this year or early next year. I personally will be looking for a condo on the outskirts of the city as they're usually much cheaper and I will have no issues with using public transport into the city centre when required as I used the MRT and BTS a lot on my two previous visits.

I was in Jodd Fairs in June, great night market, but I loved Ratchada the most, shame its gone.

My dad had a car with the fins like that blue Cadillac. But it was a Buick. I rode in it as a child. And I think a Studebaker he owned also had fins, not as large fins. Enjoyed the video. Don't know if I'll make it to Bangkok. You set up shop where your customers are, if you can.
I never know what the car models are but I just appreciate cars and the effort made to them here

I will explain why in the video im going to make about finding condos in bangkok.. will be in the next 2 weeks for sure. Spoiler... i got a bargain for this place and it had a bath.. its the bath that swung it for me and was hard to beat the price.. have to sacrifice one thing for another.. still not sure I made the ryt choice.. I want more street food! haha

@@ProjectBangkok Yes this is right. But we are two person. And two interest. But I think if we life in Bangkok , we can have it all. 1hour to Koh Samui, or other Asian countries. My wife had work in Bangkok long time ago and she had remember the air is not good. But I think it will be better!?

Rama 9 and the 2001 Tina Arena minor hit - Soul Mate Number 9. the district in Bangkok, Thailand and the Thai king - really this song is about them, but someone changed it from Soul mate number 9 to Rama number 9
The Air and the noise pollution is a problem living in that area, especially a problem for people who want to retire in that part of the world. In Thailand, you can't buy land or business The Thai law won't allow that. Unless you are a native to that country.

I've seen a few listings for life asoke hype and others in the area for around ฿13-15,000. Have a look on fazwaz and lazudi. Personally I've communicated via social with them. Very prompt! They post listings daily over on IG/FB
FB is a good way to contact direct for sure.. sometimes cut out the agent fees and get a better price
@@ProjectBangkok I also bet that if you asked an agent if you could film a room at a particular property and put it on your channel there might be further incentives. Kinda like there's something in it for both of you. Then you can add the agents contact in your description for advertising.
@@mikedimond8816 I think using 1 agent to find a property here would be crazy to be honest unless you're looking at higher end properties. Google search to your hearts content to find the right condo.. no need for agents to search for you at all. I got a video coming up soon Mike so hopefully can shed some light on this buddy
