Not even close like Manhattan !!!!
Yeah, it's just a title. I am from NYC Manhattan whipes it's ass with Manila.
Cat secure the area from rats snake and they maintane hygiene.
I think it's great
Bonifacio Global City or BGC (in Taguig) is way more better than Makati!
I actually liked Makati more, and I felt more authentic and less artificial
Philippines is very poor with respect to yours also we have no enough space 36 yrs of waiting until Marcoses return
It's not that poor. it's one of the strongest economies in Southeast Asia. Wealth distribution seems to be more severe than other neighboring countries.
@@rebornabroadIt's still poor . Many of Filipinos escape their country to Western country because its hard to live there without work or low wage. Ph is one of the low wage country in sounth east asia and they eat Pagpag and live in graveyard. Do not liar guy.
@@rebornabroadManila or Makati is just 1% area of the whole PH area
Makati is not Manhattan.
I hv a condo in Central Park West right beside Central Park
Been to Makati. It has squatters. None in Manhattan.
No Central Park in Makati
Totally two different World
U just saw the gud part of Makati. But not the squatters nearby
Shoutout from Wall Street, Manhattan!!!
I got several condos in Manhattan!!!
It's a click bait title I was born and raised in NYC. I actually thought most of what I saw was a dump. Basically, it's a giant shopping mall surrounded by slums. I wasn't a fan of BGC either. Felt really fake and artificial. The only place I liked was Intramuros. Wrong about the squatters in Manhattan, though thr liberals have brought in all the asylum seekers, and now there are people living in parks and under bridges. 100k refugees just showed up not long ago. So yes, it's not a slum like the Philippines, but it's certainly on its way under the current leadership.
@@rebornabroad seen in some places but these r controlled asylum seekers unlike the Makati squatters which r surrounding the whole city
Adams had some reserved places for the asylum sicko - Roosevelt Hotel, Randall’s etc
Unlike the dilapidated Makati slums pooing in the Pasig River, eating recycled food right out of the dump
Can’t beat that!!!
@DoniCato sure but it's definitely not a good direction. I watched them ruin nyc. It used to be a lot different in the 90s.
@DoniCato definitely wasnt at all impressed with Manila. I am sure other parts of the Philippines are nice.
@@rebornabroad 80s/90s lots of graffitis in subways/bldgs. Vacant dilapidated buildings.
Now u cudn’t even buy a small studio even if u earn $100k annually!!!
hey.. how really big is manila... what is makati is it not manila?
Metro Manila is huge. I am from NYC. it's not dissimilar
yea that district is def. the manhattan of the phils. 🏙 .....
It's definitely interesting I liked it more than BGC
@@rebornabroad ..... yea def., btw posted a link on ur bgc vlog on a vid. about the city of manila's efforts to reconstruct/restore it's old bldngs. 🏙 could be a good spot to explore in the future [*notably the chinatown area, heard it's the oldest in the world]
