amen. lost a dog about a year ago. absolutely WRECKED me. I had NO idea just how hard it would be. Literally took months for me to get back to normal. Some days would randomly burst into tears. Takes time but eventually life gets back to normal. Cheers to all you animal lovers. :)
I think most of us who are fortunate enough to share our lives with a dog feel the same way when we lose them. They are precious members of our families. We lost our little Shih Tzu who was 15 to cancer (pneumonia after second surgery) on December 19, 2022. I had anticipated losing him and was of course sad, but when the trauma of his death finally came it was devastating. I’m crying writing this…It took me until the end of July to decide to get another puppy. We got him on August 5. The anniversary of the day you posted your beautiful tribute to Muesli. He’s all of 3.2 Lbs, a tiny little dark brindle colored Shih Tzu. He’s already bringing much needed joy back into our lives. You have a beautiful life ahead and I hope it includes many more dogs, as well as your wonderful travels. We need dogs as much as they need us, probably more❤

Kane.... oh myyyy gerd I got to hang out with Orangutans in Bali sanctuary....WAY back in the day, b4 all the forests were stripped for growing 'palm'. I also got to help bath elephants in sancuary. My heart will never forget getting HUGS from Orangutans. It wasnt a business nor touristy place ....just locals whom cared.

The surface of the water looks miles away and you don't look down because if you do? You magically appeared on set of that movie called "Oblivion" being sucked into a black-hole! ... Kane might agree with me here, in understanding vision as a focal length. Almost everyone's vision is the equivalent to a 24mm lens, now for myself, I will see everything under the water between an 8-12mm lens aka, too much unneeded space 😂 Every time we go to a waterpark you'll see people of all ages (super young and elderly) going down them massive vertical slides so me being a bit daft will be like "well, if they can do it, so can I", so I reach the top at 120 feet and suddenly it just became 240 feet for me, I curse myself right before going for it... down to the fact I don't like holding up the queue line 😅 Now, Patrycja on the other hand is the complete opposite, a great swimmer, and nothing really bothers her! Sadly my eyes aren’t stable enough to get fixed permanently and I already have signs of other types of degeneration so lasik etc would be a waste of time and money. So, I 💯% agree that under the water is horrible, for everyone else it just looks easy but, for us... well, everything changes! The surface of the water looks miles away and you don't look down because if you do? You magically appeared on set of that movie called "Oblivion" being sucked into a black-hole! ... Kane might agree with me here, in understanding vision as a focal length.
Almost everyone's vision is the equivalent to a 24mm lens, now for myself, I will see everything under the water between an 8-12mm lens aka, too much unneeded space 😂
Every time we go to a waterpark you'll see people of all ages (super young and elderly) going down them massive vertical slides so me being a bit daft will be like "well, if they can do it, so can I", so I reach the top at 120 feet and suddenly it just became 240 feet for me, I curse myself right before going for it... down to the fact I don't like holding up the queue line 😅
Now, Patrycja on the other hand is the complete opposite, a great swimmer, and nothing really bothers her!

Hahah we are basically the same! Pia will attack any water slide. Meanwhile I’m up there thinking I’ll take the stairs! Sadly my eyes aren’t stable enough to get fixed permanently and I already have signs of other types of degeneration so lasik etc would be a waste of time and money. Kinda annoying!!!im hoping the goggles offer some sort of fun temporary alternative!!! We shall see. (Pardon the pun!) 😂

That’s weird…I was just thinking today about how I hadn’t seen a vid from my two fav travel vloggers. And here you are…spooky 😱😱 Totally get it. We lost our puppy (he was 15 years old) this time last year. Tore our hearts out. 💔Still miss him so much.
