Has she ever attacked you especially when around 6-8 years old there teenage years?they say owners pull there fangs to prevent this?
If a pet Capuchin is aggressive towards it's human family it was raised and cared for improperly. It's needs weren't met, it was neglected and left in a cage for too many hours a day. No, Gaitlyn has never bit anyone. She has been cared for like a queen. Her mother has dedicated her entire day to Gaitlyn. She has enriching activities Gaitlyn loves lined up every day all day. Gaitlyn is involved in every aspect of her family's life. She goes where they go. She recently attended the first ultrasound of her human brother's partner! The result of all this attention they pay to her care is an incredibly docile, loving, mild-mannered monkey that absolutely LOVES meeting new people. There are no bad Capuchins - just bad Capuchin owners. If your Capuchin is aggressive you've failed in caring for it properly. As for the fangs: because America is the defacto most litigious country in the world some vets council monkey owners to have their canine teeth removed in case they bite a stranger and you get sued. Gaitlyn would groom your hair before she would ever bite you. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. There is no other monkey that has days as fulfilling as Gaitlyn. Her mom has her busy all day with her favorite things: cooking, cleaning, folding warm clothes from the dryer, having her favorite snacks, gardening, and visiting the farm animals. She has a busier day than me and the pay off is plain to see: she is soooo happy, loving, and playful.
