From a Bama fan - Y’all should be extraordinarily proud of y’all’s team here. I don’t know if there is another team in the country (including Bama atm) that has the mentality necessary to execute that comeback. Going down that much that quickly is demoralizing to any team. UGA was unfazed. That’s championship DNA if I’ve ever seen it.
After watching UGA fall down 28-0 on the road in an extraordinarily hostile environment, then methodically/consistently keep our defense on the field - converting 5/5 on fourth down to take a lead with 2:30 left in the 4th? That’s not something every team does. That’s a team that truly does not lay down in any circumstance.
Hats off to UGA - all the respect in the world. I know we’ll see y’all again this year. The entertaining part is that both teams will be even better. RTR

That included hundreds of college football games, SEC and other league championships, a zillion UGA games, and I even shot for the Mark Richt show. I've been going to and watching my Dawgs since 1977 or so. We've come a long way since 5-6 that year.
But I can't remember a UGA team this highly ranked getting so owned in one half. It took that long to figure out that we weren't setting the edge? I see Texas and Tennessee giving us a handful. There are so many problems here. We are getting out coached every time we play Bama.

It's been so much fun, honestly this switch from Saban's system of always needing an offensive coordinator that leaves every 2 years was becoming a liability. So what does Saban do? boom Saban gives his protege one more parting gift, and gets out at exactly the right time, and then tells the administration exactly who to hire to beat his system. Having our Offensive System created by our Head Coach is exactly the answer for the New Era of College Football.. NIL Parity is about to level the playing field on Defensive talent... but Elite QBs, are not going to play for Regional Coordinators and play safe ball b/c the Defensive minded head coach doesn't like risks.. Defense wins bowl games, but Elite Offensive talent wins Playoff Championships.

The first three drives were nothing but shot plays which was a stupid decision on Bobos part. He did nothing to help Carson. The receiving core isn’t terrible but it’s not elite. Beck is definitely not over rated. The season ain’t over still a lot of games left. The defense played terrible the first half not just C.J Allen. Let’s not forget Humphreys got beat on for the game winning score for Bama and multiple missed tackles and sacks don’t just try to pin this on two people. No, Milroe went smug and OC tried to run him more than in 1st half even though Dawg defense changed and adjusted; kept calling his own number on options. OC should of had the running backs involved more in 2nd half and used that to pass. Another thing, receivers for dawgs (after being called twice for infraction early) had an easy time using push offs (uncalled) as a staple to getting open. Don't get me wrong, the receivers were phenomenal on 4th downs as Beck was delivering to them. Seeing Jaylen Walker get his hat blown off by Jam Miller was nuts. And by the way, I know it's painful for you to admit this, but Alabama 1000% got conservative in the second half. ANY team that goes up 30-7 is going to ease up and get cautious, especially in a game this big. UGA had adjusted to the edge and when you run the tape back like I know you will analyze for hours, you'll see DeBoer tell Milroe to play to protect the ball. They stopped taking risks downfield until they had to and it led to 3 and outs, gassing the Bama defense while giving Beck literally 30+ opportunities and over 20min of possession time to get comfortable. The biggest credit I can give UGA though, although it's even more a dig at Bama, is that both of Bama's tailbacks, Jam and Justice, were stuffed in the second half. Jam failed to convert a 4th and 1 by trying to get cute and run outside instead of following his block, and Justice couldn't find the line of gain. Either one of those plays goes the other way, game is over. Clock management by Milroe in the second half was abysmal. It's inexcusable and Bama has to get that fixed. Ryan Williams on the other hand, is just a human cheat code. People are not talking about Jeremiah Smith because Ohio St. plays nobody. Ryan Williams just did THAT to Georgia.
