OG vs LGD Game 4 Grandfinals shows that DotA 2 is not just all about kills and networth, but sometimes you have to take risk 1.) ana selling Aquilla and reselling Talisman of Evasion, to save for buyback and hold the game 2.) Topson making plays, just to create space for ana and JerAx to destroy barracks for mega creeps 3.) JerAx relocated ana back to the fountain sacrificing himself but saving his carry to hold out the game 5.) Notail throwing his hero and unit, pulling and cutting wave just to prevent enemies to enter the base, which can cancel out their backdoor protection

I'm sure they'll be the winners again of TI10. You heard it here first. TI10 OG will win it and score their hat trick!
Out of all ''TI million plays'' i think Ceb's call is by far the greatest. The weight it carries is immeasurable, maybe not because it turned one game around, but because it cemented OG's legendary run at TI8. All the effort of friendship and blind trust came into fruition with that one single play.
The contrast between OG and LGD in that 15 mins break after game 4 was the key point. The way OG rosters are motivating and at the other end the LGD are demoralising is just so critical.
That truly show the difference of mindset between Eastern country and western country. Just like how Eastern focus more on academic results and Western focus more on the potential of people
@@YangYang-ct2gx I think a huge part is the standing of gaming in our cultures vs asian ones, for us its mostly about love and fun because its still not really considered to be a valid career choice for most people. China/SKorea have a way bigger market and its handled a lot more professional with players getting into it for money and fame, which is fine, but obviously can increase the pressure when playing against such an inspirational team that can keep calm and meme around, such as OG
I believe the insane comeback plays a huge part here. LGD for sure knew that they had the game in the bag and every player was aware of it, Fy ignoring the coaches comment seemed appropriate, don't think any rosh fight was the downfall of that game, just a bad call of going for throne.
@@YangYang-ct2gx Wrong, western mentality doesnt focus on potential of people whatsoever, believe my country had both but back to the point: As Corrupted said its about overall mentality regarding esports. PSG/LGD is a machine from a community where esports are taken very serious and on par with basically any other sport while OG was Big dady´s baby with the mentality of playing more for fun and dont stress about it too much, their roster was literally just somehow put together at the last moment while LGD was like a national repre team and during the break between matches it was clearly visible..
even my friend who used to hate OG (esp ana) had to admit OG is the strongest and the best team in Dota history. the moment i heard that came out from my friend's mouth makes me tremble. OG really is the best.

Will miss this roster, really.. Lakad Matatag Boys!!
Indeed. Also, Ti8 was never a fluke. The victories, the comebacks, everything that led OG to the Aegis was because of how good of a player they are, mechanically, and how incomparable they are as a team.
TI8 is the best dota winning story i've ever seen, from regional qualified go to champions, compare to TI3? TI8 is the best cz much history behind that
32:03 "And you are friends. That's the most important thing." That's why I respect them and love to see them play. They always seem so chill and trusting with one another.
I think the semi final comeback against psg.lgd was the true start of their domination by giving the whole team an incredible confidence which lasted until the ti9 win.
IMO the most underrated moment in TI9 True Sight is the new patch moment. It goes so deep into showing how well this team compliments each other. By far, Ana is the quietest and has the lowest self confidence of the lot, but the way the team ALWAYS includes him in little ways like this must just mean the world to him. Love it

Exactly what Im always saying, everyone praises Jerax for the Echo Slam but overlook Topson who was defending for like 1 minute straight while ana died and bb, Ceb respawned but Topson there all the time defending first the racks then the ancient waiting for Jerax to come back.
There will be good teams there will be great teams there will be super team but there will never again be a team and a group of guys like OG 2018 2019. Dota lovers all around the world felt in love with their dota. Forever in my heart, big suport from Serbia.
Palmen1990 yep, the reason why ana took a break again until next season was because he wants to focus on his acads also, but im not if it's becoming a doctor or something
Ti8 and Ti9 OG are like Generation of Miracles of DotA 2 like damn. The versatility of all thier players... Liquid had a hard time guessing who will be playing this and that on the last game... Whatever happens for the next Ti (Ti10) win or lose... They don't need to prove anything.
Notail is like Kuroko and Akashi at the same time... Shot caller and synchronize with all the plays. Ceb is equal to Akashi (Just like Akashi he knows what will happen "sort of" if you will watch the red bull documentary when he was the coach Notail mentioned that he was the one predicting what the enemy will do) Ana is like Aomine (like his formless shot "100% it will go in) Can pick anything and be carry JerAx is definitely Kuroko - with all the synergy with each of his teammates... Looks like he can assist anyone for a play or a kill on any member of this team. And Topson somehow resembles Kise can do anything like ana and be a monster or Kagami (like Kagami...since he just joined the roster, everybody does not really care bout him till he makes some plays and everything..
Whatsup Pen yeah, especially the finals. its the best ti final ever, on par with navi v alliance. ti9 finals, however, was kinda boring. OG wrecking liquid like 3k scrubs is awesome but it isnt as hype as the ti8 finals
True. That shit still had me surprised the second time I watched. Goosebumps all over. I mean, old liquid was quite good but the hype I felt back in TI8 was something else.
TI10 is going to be hype, if they manage to 3 time it with a new team, damn. God tier scouting and recruiting, they keep getting these hungry creative players
Its the best series Ive watched in my life. Wish LGD managed to go finals in China, that would be some next level shit dota. TI9 finals were disappointment.
During TI8, Jerax got overlooked because they say fy is the best pos4. But i've always considered jerax to be the best pos4. He was so underrated. That's why it makes me so happy when I watched true sight TI9, jerax is the beast of pos4. Amazing rotations and ganking skills. Mah boi jerax and the rest of OG. ❤️ I'm gonna miss this roster.
i feel like JerAx has mastered the art of prioritizing whats important, like when ana ember was almost ded from the silencers ability,he was so relieved that he lived, showing how far he has gone as a pos 4 than any pos 4 players....
When Ana says,"I'm coming, we can fight this." You know he's the best carry. That insane confidence with the full commitment by his team. OG IO will be forever their legacy. The only support that made carry in TI. ❤
5:34 Jerax got the glory from fans for that game because of that beautiful echo, but og knew that topson secured the grand finals for them with that mind blowing arc warden defense.
No matter how times I watch, it was so touched. From get abandoned from leader, and fight all the way up. And finally get 2 times TI champions back to back. Their spirit is the most important thing we need to learn. Never give up, never knows what will happen at the end.
That 2min Topson/Ana defense against LGD was fukin insane when i watched it live,Like you have to defend 5players that their at peak performance in TI..you have respect this team ,bc can they turn the tables upsidedown real quick.
Bruhh... looking at this kind of play its just insane dude. The team coordination, decision making, hero pools its just perfect. What a team! Remember... don't be sad because it's over be happy because it happened -internet quotes
Patience and perfect chemistry . OG never wasting whatever they doing . Look at ana timing to using skill . Look at ceb mind calming . Jerax and notail alert about every single things happenend . And topson just make a such diffrnt play from another midplayer . And every single buyback is fcking useful . OG the power of FRIENDSHIP
before Ti8 he was not that good mid player because his play is inconsistent sometimes he is good and sometimes bad, now he is really good and everyone knows that. so its not really underrated
@@Lux07s Ana didn't win 2 majors by being inconsistent, if anyone is inconsistent, it was his offlane and carry. Notail haven't been that great of a carry for years now, but his support role is really top tier though.

Ana at TI7 is by no means inconsistent, he just doesn't take over games, that role should be left to a POS 1 not POS 2.
@@cinderburn2660 Miracle Fangays just loves comparing Ana to Miracle before. Miracle came into the pro scene and starting dominating games, these fangays expects Ana to do the same. Ana plays consistent, but his consistent game isn't enough for OG to win. That's just it. You get what I'm saying?

I Always believed that original TI champions, Navi were always the most iconic team Dota2 had ever seen. Not because of some nostalgia but because of their gameplay, they played their own style and at their best they were unstoppable. OG somehow are on another level, they have an insane consistency they play their own dota, they completely shifted the games direction for ever and they got rewarded for it. Somehow they managed to make a cinderella story on TI8 and a roflstomp right next year. I honestly dont believe esports will see a team like that maybe ever, what they have done is beyond hard and their way of play cannot be replicated, it has another quality beyond sterile immitation tactics. I have nothing else to say, they have my unquestionable recognision and respect as one of the most amazing game spectacles i have and probably will ever witness.
All TI winning squads are amazing teams on their own, but my all-time favorite will always be the 2011-2013 Na`Vi and the 2018-2019 OG. Both have the hyper-aggressive tower diving plays and are almost always successful in doing it.

I will continue to support team OG with the new additions Sumail, Saksa and MidOne which are already showing results in the LA closed/open qualifiers. I'm sure they'll be the winners again of TI10. You heard it here first. TI10 OG will win it and score their hat trick!

Ana in killer mode😁
ana was angry after the first game :D
Because jealous people told them TI8 win was a fluke so they won TI9 too.
It's crazy that people can actually think you win a multimillion dollar event from luck 😂
@@T30BO55 twice*
@@T30BO55 people are actually retarded.
Ti10 incoming for OG boiiiiisssss
Out of all ''TI million plays'' i think Ceb's call is by far the greatest. The weight it carries is immeasurable, maybe not because it turned one game around, but because it cemented OG's legendary run at TI8. All the effort of friendship and blind trust came into fruition with that one single play.
And just the decision to pick Axe out of nowhere. Who would’ve picked that hero in a do or die situation? Only OG!! 🔥
i beg to differ , TI3 million dollors dream coil beats everything. that was a real turnaround
@@KHobbies_cina Well, yeah, but i was thinking about OG TI8 story as a whole. That's why i praised this play so much instead.
@@KHobbies_cina million dollar dream carl*
@@KHobbies_cina Nobody would have thought OG to win.. Nobody.. They came from zero crawled their way back up from qualifiers with a new roster.
There's just never going to be another roster like this man, last second formation became one of the strongest teams in Dota 2 history.
Not one of the strongest. The strongest.
even my friend who used to hate OG (esp ana) had to admit OG is the strongest and the best team in Dota history. the moment i heard that came out from my friend's mouth makes me tremble. OG really is the best.
I still get goosebumps whenever I hear that..
"OG your ti8 champions!!!"
those comebacks.. really.. almost all of OG's comeback were epic.. cant stop watching this movie man.. ti8 is the best.. really, the best. i dont care others opinion.. i dont even care if those bashers say it was a fluke.. i wont even care to explain.. ti8 was the best ti for me..

I think the semi final comeback against psg.lgd was the true start of their domination by giving the whole team an incredible confidence which lasted until the ti9 win.
you mean upper bracket finals game 3 against LGD? i think the real confidence boost was after beating EG in game 3 of the upperbracket semis.
2man deffence is the best, the true definetion of dota.
Love it
Shaun Gordon I don’t Think he has low self confidence. He’s just humble. You Can have confidence and still be humble, that’s how I see Ana

TI 8 : ana sell items for buyback.
TI 9: ana bought tome of knowledge to reach level 15. That's next level play.
bruh that's literally what tome of knowledge do. it gives EXP. how come it's the next level play ? i can understand the clutch item sell but saying buying tome to get level "next level play" is a bit of an overreaction.
@@nowbacktome It may be its definition but the timing and condition of the game made it the 2nd best item acquisition in that game (1st was Gyro's Diffusal Blade)
》Ana's Io needed experience from at least two creep waves to reach level 15 for the passive spirit spheres
》Nigma's attack pressuring the top lane tier 3 tower was extremely strong given that Io's level 15 talent was still not there and Nigma was aware of that.
》Nigma was caught by surprise with the emergence of the level 15 Io which caused them the entire clash and leading to their defeat of the game.
That 1 minute difference (2 creep waves vs Tome of Knowledge consumption) made all the difference

how topson defends the base since 3:00 is just amazing, what a player
Exactly what Im always saying, everyone praises Jerax for the Echo Slam but overlook Topson who was defending for like 1 minute straight while ana died and bb, Ceb respawned but Topson there all the time defending first the racks then the ancient waiting for Jerax to come back.
There will be good teams there will be great teams there will be super team but there will never again be a team and a group of guys like OG 2018 2019.

Ceb is equal to Akashi (Just like Akashi he knows what will happen "sort of" if you will watch the red bull documentary when he was the coach Notail mentioned that he was the one predicting what the enemy will do)
Ana is like Aomine (like his formless shot "100% it will go in) Can pick anything and be carry
JerAx is definitely Kuroko - with all the synergy with each of his teammates...

God tier scouting and recruiting, they keep getting these hungry creative players

before Ti8 he was not that good mid player because his play is inconsistent sometimes he is good and sometimes bad, now he is really good and everyone knows that. so its not really underrated

@@allenxavier6073 Nope, Ana is the one who was really inconsistent back then. He do a lot of questionable moves back then. He is also easy to break mentaly. That is why he got flamed so much back then, so much so that he decided to "take a vacation".
@@cinderburn2660 inconsistent? Nah, he wasn't inconsistent, Ana just doesn't play at the same Level as Miracle back then, even though he play much better than his teammates in TI, he got blamed because the previous pos 2 of OG is Miracle who used to dominate games.

Thanks guys, seeing your dreams come true is like mine did.
