I love the fact that you didn't use a mixer. I don't have a mixer and watching you make the cookies "by hand" was refreshing. Thank you for sharing your cookies!
I made these for my family on this rainy day. Brother #1, "This is the best recipe you have made yet" (while wildly shaking his head yes). Brother #2, "This is perfect!" (while in the middle of chewing his first bite). 👍👍👍
Hi Sam! Looks like you've delivered another super star cookie recipe! I'll be assembling all of the needed ingredients from my cabinets and baking off these beauties today!! Thanks for the latest addition to my all star cookie line up! My family & and co-workers are in for a sugar spun run treat!
I made your pumpkin pie with your famous crust yesterday. IT IS GREAT!!! My family asked me to make another as they were eating.😂 Today, you are making my favorite cookie. My holiday baking is now set. ❤ Thanx
This is now the fifth recipe ive made from you, where my entire family has said "holy crap" or some variant when they take a bite. Thank you! These are FANTASTIC! I used almond roca in place of heath. They are soooo freaking good, thank you. Your creamed corn is amazing, too. Edit : idk why the almond roca in my comment is a link, LOL. Im just a random country bumpkin, im not an almond roca rep 😂
Thank you so much for your support! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed everything. I love reading comments like this one. They really put a smile on my face. 😊
I made these the day you posted this video and they’re SO GOOD! I didn’t have premade toffee chocolate bits, so I made my own. :) thanks for the recipe!!
Hi Sam this looks amazing!! and can I use your star bread recipe and Instead of the normal size can I make it mini? thank you so so much Sam!!🤩 Love Brissa.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh it looks great! :) I said this on Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe - the best way to do the brown butter is to make it 2 hours before - and then pull out your ingredients that need to be room temperature. because by the time the brown butter is cool enough to the touch - your eggs will be too. (and in that down time that's when I weigh my flour, sugar, and everything else). Just a note for us Canadians: we don't have Heath Bars, but you can replace this with skor bits. (or buy skor bars and smash them if you want the chocolate covering)
Hey Sam! I made these yesterday and they were the BOM. SOOO GOOD!!! Do you by chance have a white chocolate raspberry cookies recipe, similar to the ones sold at subway?
I will definitely be making these scrumptious cookies! I read you're making a cookbook? I would love to buy a copy! Question, I only have the use of one hand/arm, so fould I use my kitchenaide mixer to stir? Tfs and God Bless 💜🥰
Thank you! If you follow me anywhere you’ll find out when I get it done. For some recipes a stand mixer works great! This one will do well in the mixer. 😊
If youre rushing to make this, you can make an ice bath in another bowl, set the warm butter bowl into the ice bath and gently whisk, pretty quickly the buttet will firm up to the texture you want 😊
I have two thing I want to say. First, it recently occurred to me weren’t wearing any rings when you were cooking and I like that because rings aren’t ideal while doing certain cooking tasks IMHO. I have wondered at times if you even had any rings because you never wore them. I noticed that you have had a ring on your left hand recently. This isn’t a gripe because it doesn’t matter in this type of recipe. I guess what I wanted to say is that I appreciate you taking off your ring(s) when necessary because that sets a good example even if very few wing-nuts like me will ever notice. Second, I want to tell you that you’re one of the few people in my 60 - 70+ list of TH-cam creators I’m subscribed to that cheer me up with your extraordinarily special personality that makes me save watching your videos until the “prime time” of my evening.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy all of the videos. I do try to make them entertaining and sometimes feel like I fail, but it's good to know they are appreciated. For the rings, I don't typically like to wear them while making some things as you have said, but I do like wearing them so sometimes I just forget to take them off. :)
😋oh wow Sam. My late Mom 🙏🕊️ would've loved those, Heath was her favorite. I miss being able to eat cookies, no sugar for me 😟. My neighbor & his wife are going to gain some lbs. 😆
@SugarSpunRun ty Sam ❤️, miss her so very much. Heath was always included in every holiday gift, and making that saltines crack stuff that mimics toffee. My neighbor helps me so much, it's the least I can do for him & his wife, I'm so lucky to have his help. Blessings to you and your beautiful family 🤗🙏 p.s your videos & recipes have gotten me back in the groove of baking so ty❤️
It’s a Duxtop! I’ve been using it for nearly 7 years now and I love it. They don’t make my exact model anymore (at least, I can’t find it) but I did a quick search on Amazon and this one seems most similar to mine: amzn.to/40GdXJq (affiliate link)
I have stainless steel and enameled cast iron that I use. There are some stainless steel pans that don't work so you just want to check them before buying. :)
Very close to my cookie recipe except I add old fashioned oats ground to nearly flour, pecan and walnuts, white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips. I roll in film and refrigerat making cookies as needed for family members in their 90s and 80s. 😊
At first I thought you said "this recipe is over 500 years old." I was like "Wait! What?" I had to rewind it and watch that part again. Lol. The cookies look delicious. A combination of toffee and chocolate sounds good as well. I appreciated watching the videos where you showed yourself making brown butter. The first time I made it I wasn't sure if I had done it right because there were brown bit in it. I thought it would be all smooth and the butter would be brown. It took a couple of times to realize that 1. the brown bits should be there and 2. the whole process will take several minutes.
I love the fact that you didn't use a mixer. I don't have a mixer and watching you make the cookies "by hand" was refreshing. Thank you for sharing your cookies!
You’re welcome! I hope you love them! 😊

I love how people who are looking to learn from you criticize you. Make that make sense. Sam just ignore them.
🤷♀️ There's only so much you can do right?

Those look incredibly delicious! Hubby will love these❤
Thank you! :)
Right up my alley. I love a butter rich cookie. Your eggs look so good, you can always tell a home-grown egg by that beautiful orange yolk.
I hope you love these! My birds live a good life so it helps with the color of their yolk. :)
I love your recipes and I especially love how you say "aeggs" ☺.
Hi Sam this looks amazing!! and can I use your star bread recipe and Instead of the normal size can I make it mini? thank you so so much Sam!!🤩 Love Brissa.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I haven't tried making it mini, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. :)
@@SugarSpunRun Thank you so so much! It means a lot to me!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh snap! This is the cookie for me. Love all the butter…✌️❤️
I hope you love them! 😊
I love your apron! Can't wait to try the recipe either!

Looks delicious What can be used as substitute for the Heath chocolate toffees, perhaps Mars bars chopped up or Toffifee ?
These cookies look so good! Where did you get your apron??
It was actually a gift. If I remember correctly, it came from Anthropologie.
Yummy 🤤

Have you always mentioned grams in every item you put in?
While I haven't always mentioned it, it is always in the description. :)
@@SugarSpunRun ok. I figured someone from Europe said something 😆
