Had no idea Jimmy was such a huge fan. It’s great that he kept all that fan club stuff!
he's awesome.
He’s a liar. He kisses ass to everyone who comes on his show.
Jimmy should manage The Black Crowes.
Jimmy is a fan of who gets him views.
@@blastofoso they can disappear.because they're all assholes.
Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is Timeless..
Thorn In My Pride is one of the best blues rock songs of all time❤
Steve Gorman glued that record together and wailed Buddha on that recording
@@shawnray2941 Yeah, it's too bad Steve is no longer with the Crowes.

Favorite album of all time
I still listen to Amorica when I ride my bicycle on the trails. I think it’s their best album.
Totally agree 100%
Because it is!
I know what you’re saying! I’m apeshit about three snakes and one charm.
'Wiser Time' is rad. So chill and calming and cool.
@@the406seadonkey6 yeah, that’s a good one. Love the slide guitar.
Welcome back gents. Love to see y'all back on the road. Thanks for all the great memories!
I ADORE Chris Robinson and I LOVE the Black Crowes! Huge longtime fan. One of my all time favs!! ❤❤❤
Chris has grown up a lot over the years. Good to have the Crowes back
Yeah, I agree. You ever read Steve Gorman‘s book? Holy mackerel…
He's still a jerk
@@stuco What great rock singer isn’, though? Everyone I’ve ever met or worked with -narcissistic as all get-out!
@@stuco I dig where you’re coming from, my brother.
@ValensRocks I'd say there are many. Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Dave Grohl, to name a few.
Not a huge 'The Tonight Show' fan with Jimmy at the helm (or Leno for that matter), but kudos to him for having Chris Robinson on and recognizing The Black Crowes and rock music nowadays. Crap has taken music over, so this was an unexpected breath of fresh air. Thanks Jimmy!
Totally agree !!
You just have to go looking for good music nowadays.
absolutly.
You have Chris and Rich back, but Marc isn't there, Eddie is dead, Gorman is history, and Johnny is doing something or other. Those hired players in the band aren't "The Black Crowes." They are expendable. And Sven is along for the ride.
@@pattidolcemente7316tThey're Not the Black Crowes. Love how they consider themselves the entire band. 2/6 of TBC.
Fan since day one, great to see Chris happy and awesome that Jimmy is a true fan and not just paying lip service.
Jealous is top 5 favorite songs of all time! Won tickets off the radio, using the original cell phone to call and be the tenth caller! Berkeley theatre was a core memory! I love Black Crowes! 🤟💞🤟
Cool story.. I once won tics to see Bob Dylan .. and another time a thousand bucks !! Bought my 1st PRS guitar .. (caller # 9)
@@skeymoson that’s awesome! 💞🤟😁
My Aunt Mary was such a huge Black Crowes fan that I gave her my debut cassette as the groovy little stoner kid I was back then and bought myself another.
She was admitted on Christmas day 2021 with Covid19 and passed away January 2, 2022 on a vent all alone in the infirmary.
I later sat with a big bottle of wine and played/sang She Talks To Angels at the top of my lungs repeatedly on my Fender acoustic guitar for what must of been hours if not days.
I know that comes across as somewhat morbid and dark, but that freakin' song genuinely helped get me through that heartbreaking loss, and for that?
I'll always be eternally grateful.

That's a beatiful story.
Been a big fan of these guys since Shake Your Money Maker. Southern Harmony is one of the all-time best rock'n'roll albums made. Stoked to hear their new stuff. Underrated band.
Seen them so many times, one of the best concerts I ever went to was when they Were doing a smaller venue tour and played my student union in Glasgow. They blew the roof off!
This was awesome to watch-I like that Jimmy showed us his nostalgia Crowes collection there too, shit was so different back then everything was pen and paper and telephones…funny how all that stuff is obsolete now and today you can simply log onto a radio stations website and request a song digitally!
We’re honored to be a part of this Rock’n Roll history! 🤘✍
What a nice treat seeing a real talented musical artist on the show, and in the sit down guest seat too.. Well done Jimmy; more please..
GREETINGS FROM ARKANSAS WE MEET THEM IN ROGER AR THEIR CONCERT SOME YRS AGO CHRIS WAS VERY RUDE AND STAND OFFISH THEY HAVE NO CLASS NO GOD NO MORALS HE LOOKED DIFFERENT FROM HERE THEY USE FILTERS ON THE CAMERAS...RICH WAS NICER THEY FORGET WHERE THEY CAME FROM ALL WOMEN ARE FROM GOD STOP PUTTING WOMEN DOWN AND JUDGE PPL BY THEIR LOOKS WHICH MEAN NOTHING AND ARE SUBJECTIVE...THEY NEED GOD LIKE MANY ABUSIVE PPL toxic is an understatment
One of my favorite bands of all time. Such awesome songs. Love them still. I’m 67!
Took my wife to her first rock concert in Chattanooga around 7-8 years ago to see The Black Crowes and they were as awesome as when I saw them in the Omni Chris mentions. Btw, we were front row at her first concert!
My 39 year old daughter when she was 15 was gonna marry Chris and still loves him❤❤❤
This is brilliant, I’ve loved The Black Crowes since 1994 great interview and love that Jimmy was such a super fan
fallon is a rockstar too.
I am sooooooo glad we never gave up on them getting back together. We've already seen them now in Alpharetta GA where they blew it out of the water!! We just saw them a couple of weeks ago at the Fox Theater in ATL and our tickets with the Black Crowes and Aerosmith are rescheduled and we will see them there. We are making up for lots of lost time with them. The brotherly love between them is obvious and they sound better now than even when they were younger!!! We are so proud of our hometown guys!!!
Chris Robinson is one of the top 5 male vocalists in rock. Period.
LMAO
Period....ok. If it makes it so in your head. Lol
uh no
He means “ into rock” crack rocks specifically and u sir are correct he may be number one
😂😂...lol!!... No...he is not
I've always loved listening to Chris, singin' or speakin'.
He has a unique accent.
Later album...my fav. Before the Frost...so much groove...such a great tour too...
saw them in 1991 with ZZ TOP at Madison Sq Garden, nice to hear Chris give the explanation.
I am glad they are still around and in good form. Thanks Crowes for making the 90's bearable.
Bearable? What the hell happened to you! The 90s were F’N AWESOME
I lost my one true love.
Never forget when they were doing the larger rock and roll clubs. There was a club outside of Detroit called the Ritz. And this was right before their second album was coming out. They already had I think the single Remedy from the second album was all over the radio.
We got to the bar and we were lucky we got one of the high standing bar tables that was just behind the main floor and elevated. Everybody on the floor had to stand. They're probably was a good 500 people in their easily. And the band played every single song from the first album. It was unbelievable. Everyone was there to see this new band that we had all heard the first album for the past months, if not a year. And they were actually OPENING for a band called Junkyard!😅
Junk yards big song was called hollywood. I think this was right about the early or middle 90s? We had the best time. The Crowes were awesome.
Ah The Ritz. Saw many shows there in the 80's. A lot of local bands like Seduce, The Look, Bittersweet Alley..
Saw the crowes many times. Always a great show. Glad they are back with new music.
Saw them years ago when they first got some attention in Montreal. Only band on the bill at a theatre, probably 1500 seats, sold out and the crowd was giving them a rough time from the start. Heckling, booing it was weird. Chris Robinson asked what was wrong lol. It was odd, they were not terrible, I don't know.
Jimmy got points now that I know he's a Crowes Head! Pretty cool!
Love chris Robinson , & black crowes! He very thoughtful kind intelligent man.
Hey Chris! I'm excited you're in the comments section!
Are your parents Dick's to @@Andy22882
I have been listening to 'Title Song', live for days now. Looking forward to their upcoming show in Oakland.
I don't think 'Happiness Bastards' is The Black Crowes' best album cover, but I think it was clever of them to paint over their old album covers. It's like them saying, that was our past and this is our now!
Great band. Great memories. Great songs. I’ve seen them in large and small venues.
That was my very first concert---the ZZ Top Tour with Black Crowes. Have a T shirt in a box in the house for both acts.
I saw the black crows in ‘99 in Columbus Ohio and they played for 3 hours and I would’ve stayed for another 3. So damn good
Go Mr. Crowes! So happy to have you back!
Loved the old fan club mailers!
Looking forward to seeing them in Newcastle, taking my lady who has never seen them live.
I saw the band play a “ Kisw “
Rising Star concert in Seattle for $2 at The Paramount.
The cord for guitarist was so short , it was off the ground when he moved up to microphone and kept unplugging thru the set. A roadie in T-shirt with pack of cigarettes in his sleeve , and a lit one in his mouth kept running on stage to plug it back in.
I still have the ticket stub , might get that $2 back someday, lol.
Just left the concert at the mgm in Boston! Unbelievable!!!!❤
Chris is a a great singer with a lot of soul and Rich is an amazing guitar player. Good to see them back together and making music.
Every time I got in this specific bar in my hood, I play the Black Crows from their digital jukebox and every guys in the bar wonder who plays this music, they know their shit!!! I feel flattered. 😊
We love chris robinson
Love The Black Crowes!
I got to see Black Crowes on tour with ZZ Top in Indy. Both bands were great.
‘Jealous Again’ is and always will be my FAVORITE Crowes tune…AWESOME # oh yeah yeah! 🤟🏻🦅🤟🏻
Rich wrote 'She Talks to Angels' at 15 years old!!!! Thats crazy! A testament to his skill and talent!
jimmy fallon sharing high school mail is the sort of compelling high quality tv we have come to expect from this great entertainer
Makes me love Jimmy even more!
I bought the album on cd. That's where I get my music. Also cannot wait for the jimmy page/black crowes re-release.
This is so wonderful to see them back. Also(!), it is awesome to see them plugging the vinyl. That is the only format.
Love the Robinson brothers so talented and amazing song writers. This new album kicks butt! 🔥👏🏻
Chris Robinson Brotherhood was such a great band. RIP Neal Casal
I have 4-5 Black Crowes concert shirts that I will never ever get rid of. Love my Robinson Bros!!! ❤
Met Chris a few days ago in New York such a good guy
I met him in 2001..(Tour of Brotherly Love) backstage in Detroit…He was just leaning against a wall by himself..as I walked past!.Got his autograph..didnt talk too long…Oasis was openers that night..next show..,.they flipped..Crowes opening for Oasis….Next show…Oasis was opener again etc. etc..
saw crowes open for Plant in '90. they were promoting their 1st album. over the next 20 years, saw them over 10 times, most in the 90's. my favorite show was in '99 when they were touring by your side and just picked up Audley Freed on lead guitar. it was around the time they were kinda transitioning from a Rolling Stones blues rock type of band to more of a jam band. that was the show that not only did i love their overall performance, i became impressed with their musicianship. Chris was always a top vocalist in rock history but the rest of the band seemed to take their instrumentals to the next level. i was also impressed during the luther dickinson era. last show i saw was with greene on lead and i just was not too impressed. that was about 10 years ago and i have not seen them sense. course i am old and stopped drinking, etc... over 10 years ago. going to a show in your mid-50 sober is not near as fun as partying in my 20s at a rock show.
He grew up down the street from me. We actually both got kicked out of the same high school (Walton). I was standing in front of him at a Kamasi Washington show in NYC a few years ago. I noticed it was him and asked him if he wanted a drink when I went to the bar and handed it to him and didn’t say anything. Then when I went to leave I told him I would say hi to Mrs. Sternilolo if she wasn’t dead. He started laughing and was like, “are you from east Cobb?” I told him I was. And we talked for a few minutes. I had actually met him before and used to wait on his parents at Houcks when I bartended there. He was super chill after I didn’t ask him for anything or acknowledge that he is a big rock star.
A buddy of mine who worked for their label took me to a show on their very first tour... we met the band and watched the show from the stage at a club in Richmond. Chris was really great to us... fun, friendly. His brother, not so much.
I like that the fan club was in Van Nuys, California.
The Black Crowes. The name says it all. Best new band back in the day and always a favorite to hear. Glad to see them back at it.
Nice interview. Jimmy on good form here (i.e. not braying like a donkey every 15 seconds), and Chris a chatty, honest and relaxed interviewee. Good stuff.
I love seeing them back on the late night circuit. Well deserved. Excited for the next chapter of TBC!!
Still have some of my Crowe Mafia stuff! 30 + year journey with these guys.
Saw them in Denver last night at the Fillmore which is a GA venue, so was able to get right up close. Killer show. He's right, there's nothing like the air pumping out of those speakers at a live show.
I love the Crowes! Saw them @ the Tampa fairgrounds in Sept.92'
So glad they are doing this. Album is great, and the music world needs this organic, real rock. Just saw them a couple nights ago in Houston. Amazing
I love the black crows, my sister gave me a copy of shake your money maker when I was freshman in high school in 1991. I had remember buying one of the tee shirts from hot topic. Good times.
My favorite band ever!!!
🔥 🎶 😎 🎶 🔥
I saw The Black Crowes with ZZ Top. Lost hearing for 3 days.
Now going to see them with Aerosmith. So excited ❤
What a smart, no airs kind of guy. Great interview.
Love Chris Robinson, such a nice guy
One of my favorite concerts! Saw them in Atlantic City! I was in the front! Kate Hudson was his wife and she was jamming on the side stage!
He filled in pretty well for Robert Plant when they toured with Jimmy Page . Saw them at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh NC .. First concert I've been to where everybody stood .
I really like Chris as a singer and person, nice, kind and a fantastic voice for rock.
Been a fan since the beginning love this band and I am so happy the brothers are back together can’t wait to see them next month
Yes! Bring back real rock n roll!
Watching this interview reminded me of the good old days. Those days are gone.
Black crowes makes music to leave your house, tune out and go camping with your bike...
We need that these days...
The album days with posters ...were true fan favorites
I have always liked Jimmy F., and now I like him even more knowing he's a BC's fan! I enjoyed him sharing the fan club info. This was a good interview! It's great that the BC's are back!
Best American rock n roll band!
I saw opening night in Nashville for this tour. They sounded great!
I love "Wanting and Waiting," so worth the Waiting!
This is great!
Saw them last night in Dallas! They were awesome! He is a wonderful front man! Band sounded great!
Excellent Band! Excellent Singer!!! Rock and Roll!!!
I saw them a few times. The best was on the “Summer Of Brotherly Love Tour” with Oasis at Radio City Music Hall. The new album is the best since “Amorica”. Great video!
Thear is better love than brotherly love god I miss my brothers they both passed away to early I’m so glad these guys are back talkin and made more music amen 😊
彼らのアルバム全て持っていて、人生で一番聞いてきたロックバンドです。2024年にニューアルバムを聴ける幸せ、本当にありがとう。
Chris is the real deal! Top interview!
Ready to shake my moneymaker this Friday in Houston!! Stoked
GREAT JOB ALL...THANX 4 MAKING Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO the music worldwide.
LOVE YOU ALL...!!!....MUCH LOVE.!!
Chris Robinson is great - so glad the Crowes are back! Last great American Rock Band!
Thank you for that beautiful message! I ask God to bless you and your family forever
He’s a great man.
They are a great band. 🙌🏻
Fallon has excellent musical taste, as do we.
love this band and love this new music (and the old music)!
Never heard of this show before when did it start airing?
"I don't think anyone's done that" (Jimmy Fallon on putting the old cover and covering it with some new stuff). Apart from David Bowie's 'Next Day' album from 2013, the white square covers his 'Heroes' cover. It's fine.
I saw them live at star lake ampitheater in Pittsburgh!!
I love them all I can't pick one favorite❤
Saw him in Tampa with the Dead. They had to carry him onto the stage. One of the last shows in the Sombrero. A few days before Jerry died. Good show. 🎶💜
