Always got one tied on. A ringed eye flippin hook with a pegged weight gives this application a shallow presentation too

Something nobody talks about in fishing is strength and conditioning. Watch JC hands and wrists impart that subtle action with those big strong hands. I don't have great electronics, so swing heads have become one of my favorite search baits for smallmouth up here in michigan. Kyle monti 1/2 oz. head with a biospawn vile bug.

The rod you're using in this video has become one of my favorites for a few different moving baits like hard heads, swim jigs, swim baits, and a couple dragging baits up to about half oz like Carolina rigs and football/casting jigs. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

When did the heavy cover jig rod get cork above the reel seat & a full handle? I use that cara rod for my swim jig rod & this is not the case. 🤔.

Idk seems like he putting alot in reeling in those small fish my albu garcia zata spin reel and 7 foot medium hevy rod brings big fish in quick and easy but that's just me idk
