We opened Japanese 151 for the first time with my wife and kids. We got a god pack with the Charizard & Blastoise lines. It was insane.

I am so glad to see so many of these boxes being opened up now. At the prices they are now people who didn't get to open before now can. Awesome times.
Not a Japanese card collector but I did open some 151 and it was a lot of fun seeing the ball reverse and masterball reverse holos. I stocked up on some boxes so hopefully they go up in price in a few years.

Japanese 151 is a lot of fun to open. The first pack I opened I got the Mew.

Nightmare selling Japanese cards in the UK, still stuck with singles I pulled in 2021, simply there just isn't the trading volume

I think you need to understand that even though it’s priced at$1 I feel it’s tougher to sell due to how common it is. And we can’t rly put exactly from eBay due to fees … so I would say it is about half the box price… and $50 is it usd or pounds?

Actually it's easier if you just rip open the packs from the middle of the spine of the packs.
Just started collecting due to my young niece, something to do together. When looking into it more wow never knew how massive the Pokémon card world is. Been watching so many vids on it, any advice to a beginner?
Start collecting small sets, and/or cards that you really like. I love 151 Japanese and is a good set to start with. You don't have to get the masterball set if you still want all the cards. It is affordable

I'm so tempted to collect the Japanese edition alongside my English run, but I'm concerned that because of such mass availability the future value will suffer greatly. P.S. Maybe it is British bias, but you're my favourite Pokémon TCG TH-camr. It's nice to click on your videos knowing I won't be facing somebody locked in turbo mode 😄👍
I love 151 and it does not matter how big the reprint is, I know I will open the pack I hopefully win now in 10 years with my kids (I do not have yet)😀
Just got back into Pokémon months back but this is my favorite to date set I have been opening 1 a week since the first 🤦♂️🤣😂
I think the gengar and mewtwo reverse cards are worth a couple of quid I think

I got 3 @$85 each, then 3 @ $55 each and finally 1 @ $42 each. They don’t take up much space so I’m holding for long term. US with taxes and shipping
You can get a dollar or two per holo and pokebal holo.

Where do you buy that at 50$? the cheapest japanese box I found near is at 72$ us
i think he said £50GBP he paid for the box, not sure why he changed to $50 as £50GBP is around $65USD
cheapest i’m able to find in the uk online currently is $74

I got the same subpar results from 5 booster boxes. Just a full art Zapdos, Charizard no Erika, top tier Charizard, Venusaur or Blastoise. And as master balls goes: Charmeleon, Clefairy, Chansey, Exeggutor and Voltorb. All in all I paid 70 a box (did start buying around the 100 mark and kept buying down 80 / 60 a box) I don't regret it opening at all. Glad I skipped em when they were 160-200 a box. Nowadays that will get you 4/5 boxes!
