I was extremely surprised with twilight masquerade, I don’t know what’s going on with it, but it is definitely going up in value, every time I get a pack I always ask myself, “Should I open it or should I keep it sealed?” in fact, I’m asking myself that same question once I get my booster box in, on the one hand I kind of want to keep it sealed, but on the other hand, I kind of wanna open it and see if I can find that #1 Chase card. I’m also getting the feeling that twilight masquerade is going to be the next evolving skies, I mean with the way it’s going kind of feels that way.

Drunkenly pulled Stellar Crown Bulbasaur SIR last night with my gf. It was awesome.

What sets are the best to buy for pulls?

I definitely think a lot of these cards will drop because everyone and their grandma are opening so many packs but once we get to see a good guess of what cards are out in population then those cards will climb depending on rarity kind of like the Pikachu illustrator card.

What do think of build & battle promo sets of 4 cards ? Are Pokémon still producing build & battle stadiums? Good choices but i prefer blisters & 3 pack blister packs when available Japan 151 would be tops for me, but surging sparks & twilight masquerade aren't too bad either. Any news on the Pokémon illustrations winners cards as promos for this year!?

Great content as always, Jace! Just a heads up: TCGPlayer has been kind of glitchy lately and defaulting to LP condition cards rather than NM, so the current market price for a NM Squirtle is closer to $41 USD. :))

None of the current S&V booster boxes interest me with the exception of 151. Over time they will just get lost in the wash. The future is the forthcoming Eevee and Team Rocket sets
