    Boy, you look so good while you work! I just stenciled my bathroom floor wearing an ugly tank top and a pair of shorts with my hair a mess. I would never have recorded me looking like that! I admire you first for how good you look, but also going to the trouble to do a video of your project.

    I love it too! Paint can transform so economically! I like paint because all you have to do is paint over it when you want a change which is much better than having to tear out some other type of flooring or wall covering.

    This is the exact idea I had in mind when I finish my new bathroom. It's all concrete floor and I couldn't find anything I liked to put on it that would continue to a sitting area and then flow outside through a set of french doors...THIS IS PERFECT and you did it! Great video and I'm glad to see it is holding up. I was going to cover my in epoxy but this looks similar. I think it is going to hold up just find indoors, heavy traffic area up the steps, and outside. Great job!

  • @ourdiyary

    I LOVE YOUR FLOOR!!! How has the sealer been holding up, and how do you clean your floors? Do you think it would be safe to use a steam mop on it? :)

    • @jessicalynnathome
      @jessicalynnathome  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Domer Home you found it!! So they are holding up really well! But we don’t use it everyday but I have done a few projects on it and we have a desk down there my son uses so the chair is in and out and so far no scratches! I have just been sweeping it and then just using a wet mop so far with a little soap and that cleans it pretty well. I’m not sure how a steam mop would work it’s all outdoor concrete paint so it’s made to withstand outdoor weather so it might work ok! Thanks for watching!

    My experience with concrete, especially outside, it must be etched first. If not, your paint won't stick. It will peel over the winter.

    My basement likes to flood because of a bad pipe we have. doesn't happen all the time but when we have rain a lot it'll be sketchy. is the stencil waterproof?

    • @jessicalynnathome
      @jessicalynnathome  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew Brady hmmm I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof. I clean it every so often with a bissell crosswave but hubestly it has only gotten wet probably a handful of times and it’s not a lot of water. If your basements floods and the water sits on there for a little bit it would probably end up peeling. Sorry I hope that helps thanks for watching! 💕
