I completely agree with your comments regarding less is more. I used to own the SMP300 but sold it as I just couldn't warm up to the non tapering bracelet. The mesh on this Bond edition looks more refined and I like the way the tail hides underneath. Suits your wrists perfectly. I prefer the aluminium bezel too. Makes it more authentic. great choice. Enjoy it.

With the shorter one there is less of a gap between clasp and bracelet as the bracelet end does not exceed the length of the clasp and tucks away nicely. I think for me this is the right size, it wears very comfortably.

I took off the original bracelet from my PO Tokyo 2020 and put on Omega's milanese and it just elevates it in term of feel but it also transports it back in time. And yes, the milanese does come in a smaller version, least in 19mm version. I ordered it from the local Omega boutique. They told me 2 weeks. it came in 2 days

The best looking SMP of all time - Omega on a roll and I hope it points to a more grown-up direction in future dive releases. But, much like a mullet, the party out back is a bit much for me, even if it is For You Eyes Only... Wear it well, Agent Uptick!
Bonjour Monsieur Uptick 2 questions: I remember you said you sold the green SeaMaster as it was too thick, how's the fit of this one if it's 0.7mm thicker because of the moire complication? 2nd, how is the fit (with a desk job) with the Milanese bracelet given it seems to loop over the clasp? I love the look of a Milanese bracelet like with a Breitling Superocean Heritage, but the Omega version seems too bulky. Love your videos! And it's a highlight whenever I see a new video notification.
Nice Telecaster. The watch is really nice too, though a bit on the thick side for my taste because of the gimmick in the back. That watch, with the regular caseback would be close to the top of my list for a new diver (just behind the BB54).
@@johnnyguitar6697 the extra thickness comes from the crystal. The cases are the same, that's why the normal bracelet also fits and sits flush with the case.
I can't believe the 2541.80.00 is fetching near $3K USD these days, due to the popularity. This very much harkens back to the original, and really checks the boxes. I think for me, the Spectre, NTTD, and 60th are the three best Bond releases of the entire run.
This might be the first time that one of the bond edition seamasters isnt complete trash. Not bad. still cheesy af to honor a watch after a fictional character that wore omega's competitor in the books
It's so much nicer than the regular Seamaster. They should also lose the toothpaste cap (H.E. valve), make it thinner, make it 40mm, make the lugs 20mm, and remove the James Bond stuff on the caseback. I don't like the lolipop seconds hand - should have kept the regular hand but without the red tip. Overall it's not too bad for bigger wrists.

Here in Switzerland the boutiques offer to change to the shorter bracelet on request when you purchase without additional charge….
